Mafia Squeaky Clean Mafia - Day 3 - Ends Monday May 25 at 7pm EST

Arstotzkhan has been asking several questions that i dont really see a purpose to, especially wrt teddy. it isnt that i disagree with the kinds of questions theyre asking its that i dont see how the questions theyre asking is helping them solve the slot. i dont detect the towny mindset behind their solving, yet.

it feels a bit on the nose, i don't get scummy vibes at all, just bizarrely unhelpful and hesitant townie lol
 
epona was the same way for a while, they look like scum asking questions and solving but you can clearly see in other posts that they are using the information they glean from their questions to inform and build their worldview. thats the difference and why the former is scummy while the latter isnt
 
i’ll also backtrack slightly on what i said about teddy. his latest post about being @ work kind of helped piece together what epona is saying.

though tbh just say “can’t talk rn” and update us later.

Cliché but I prefer to trust everyone and be killed, than being suspicious of everyone. Innocent until preven guilty. That's why I don't mind sharing my gameplay style. If that gets me killed so be it, I tried my hardest. This by doesn't mean I'm not playing to win.

Nope, i can't do that. Last time I trusted someone and townread them, they appeared scummed.

i agree that the questions seem a bit irrelevant and asking for the sake of asking but i saw it more as a way of teasing out contributions. definitely doesn't feel strong enough to me for a scumlean

I really hate to say it because you seem like a positive person who actually WANTS to help, but taking the game this way isn't going to help. You should be open to the idea that everyone is out to get you

Trusting everyone is not getting you anywhwere. This really rubbed wrong. How are you finding scums if you trust them?

why would mafia trust you if you're town? the only way scum 'trusts you enough not to kill you' is that they trust you not to be a threat to them because you're not making any effort to find out who they are, and if you're playing that way you're being actively anti-town
 
My report so far of what I think of everyone, might be right, might be wrong, but so far this are my opinions.
  1. Trundle Townie, haven’t proved not to be on the good side. I have no reasons to suspect him.
  2. epona, I feel you are pushing me too hard to help, for me 1 player being neutral desolations not affect the outcome of a majority, yet you might have a lot to gain from the insight of others, especially during the night cycle, so I’m getting scum vibes.
  3. dinotown Townie, you are building up character and trying to see what others think of you, but I don’t feel you will use that information for yourself, I can sense team player.
  4. bell accont Townie, you are looking to provoke, yet again keeping a safe distance
  5. mayor leaf the flip, you are the hardest to read for me, yet I think you are a townie, but might surprise us being scum.
  6. seroja - can’t make an assumption yet, but if we are going 4/8 I will say the missing scum
  7. biancasbotique might be a little bias, but townie, same cheerful Bianca as always, also need her to be townie for this analysis.
  8. voltairenism townie, just for the ride atm , helping out but also not being extremely critical, I believe you are looking up for the townies.
  9. geoni not feeling it as safe game makes me think you are a townie, especially being a seasoned player. You could’ve taken advantage of the newbies, yet you have been helping, so I think you really want the town to win.
  10. Antonio Scum, you have an aura of confidence that makes you feel invincible, maybe you already know you can’t die tonight.
  11. Teddy345 (Me) Townie, was saving my opinions, but now they are all out.
  12. Arstotzkhan My opposite mirror, I feel we are not playing the same game, we might be looking at the same places, but with different directions. I feel you are also, like some see me, calculated, especially with your wording. That’s why I think you complete the unholy scum trinity (might be 4) of the game.

Trust me I am, I'm not anti-town, but might be anti-angry mobs, so I don't want to turn all against someone without reason, my endgame is for the town to win, and if that means making the sacrifice, I will.

If I have learn anything from werewolves of miller hollow, is that the town can became their own worst enemy, been killed defending townies, while the blindly defended a werewolf, so no I am not a scum, but I have to take into account that during the game you can be killed or be lynched.
