Mafia Squeaky Clean Mafia - Day 3 - Ends Monday May 25 at 7pm EST

I get that people have worries about the whole role name idea, but if we are being honest, now this idea has been brought up, it's going to linger until it's resolved. The best way, at least in my opinion, of handling this now that it's started is to let it play out and be proven incorrect. I certainly won't bother with it again if it's shown to be weak or incorrect. I doubt Antonio will either.

My sus about Antonio were about making a fuss and misleading town, but now I think he's right on the topic and helping everyone colaborates, so it would be silly of me to keep my pride and a vote on him.
Also mayorleaf here is going on a tangent jesus christ
i've said my piece hon i'll tap out and watch this mess unfold x

i think her roleclaim was more of a tactic to distract from the growing wagon on her. i don't think she's mafia; maybe third party, but either way the way she's playing is starkly anti-town and i don't really see any point in not lynching her at this stage

you and antonio really pushing the role name angle is giving me more red flags than kat herself though
Another argument fallacy:
15. Poisoning the Well/Personal Attack (Ad Hominem) — an argument that personally attacks another as to discredit the issue at hand
You're putting unnecessary sus on me and dinotown before this things even plays out. You are trying to discredit us without actually attempting to discredit the actual argument.

Discussing role names is commonplace on tbt (at least from what I remember) and isn't alignment indicative. I didn't like that Antonio felt the need pursue the role name guessing game but it's not sus imo.

I'm down for it. I'm willing to take the blame personally if this turns false.

We should just stop talking about it periodt. I would rather we focus that energy on actual scumhunting.

i am discrediting the argument because i agree with trundle that role names are just a distraction for town because it literally says in TOAD'S OP POST that determining alignment based on role names is dissuaded

i know. see above

in any case, i'm sticking to what i said i'd do and voting to lynch kat. a vote for anybody else won't make a difference at this stage and, as i said, she's not being pro-town (roleclaims aside)

Fair enough, I see your point.

Also @Biancasbotique since you put a placeholder on Dino, I'm of mind that you're happy with not changing it and just wait for EoD to pass. It's something I'd expect a scum would do.

Well we have about 45 minutes until votes are locked in. I know Kat's last post was pretty AtE, I don't know if it's frustrated/uncaring mafia or dissuaded town. The fact that she didn't even vote makes me think she is town, but I also don't want to switch votes off of her just because of that post. If she is mafia, intentionally not voting as a tactic to avoid getting lynched is pretty crappy gameplay since voting is mandatory. Long story short I think Kat could be town at this point but I think we would regret not voting her if we all switched to a different wagon.

That's understanable to come to that conclsion but I believe there is something there based on role claims by others. There's also the case that she has barely made a defense since then which is anti-town which I agree with.

Sadly I don't think the voting patterns here are going to give us much information. If Kat flips mafia there isn't much to go off because what I presume to be two town (Geoni and myself) started the wagon in the first place and mafia didn't have much room to deviate. If Kat is town then it's obviously an easy pile to hide in for the mafia.

I believe the only two votes we're missing is @bell account and @Arstotzkan

Btw this is literally not an ad hominem attack...

mostly agreed

i just don't think she's scum but i think either way she's not being pro-town in her gameplay regardless of her actual alignment. worth lynching if she's going to continue to be this apathetic

voltairenism randomly voting for mayor leaf knowing full well it's not going to change anything looks like distancing themself from the kat wagon to me

I'm interested in @voltairenism 's vote on @Mayor Leaf
i think i hit on something and they just want to make me out to be the villain?

the way they jumped on me for going on about how/why i think kat is town is weird as hell. i will be the first to apologize if kat is in fact mafia, but i just don't see what you all are seeing. blame it on naivete i guess.

Since it's pretty much clear who is getting lynched

Kimonos are too inexpensive, seriously, many are fabulous, inexpensive art.

All cryptic messages apart, I think Kat lynching will help me decide on who is scum. Town or mafia, every time the pool of players gets smaller, it's easier to analyze all messages. I think, is my first time doing this format of the game.

I didn't. I just said they went on a tangent. I said before that I don't understand how mayor's strat could be pro-town, and I didn't want to vote Kat because she seems like a tired person that it's not helping anyone. Also yes i dont want to be on the wagon but it's a situation where literally doesn't matter what I do

okay but why change your vote at all? as it stood, your vote for antonio didn't make a difference on the outcome of today.

And you guys do the same thing, accusing me of pushing a wagon when their are multiple reasons to vote Kat.
