I was really only here to read the beginning of day and the EoD. I need to read what happened in between but it seems that even without a Kat flip, this day was strangely quite with little done. the fact that Kat was nearly universally agreed to be the lynch is extremely strange for me and I haven't seen such a boring EoD1 in a long time. yea there were 2 votes not on kat, but the lack of trying to lead a wagon is not good

also i need to say this now but stop claiming. i was reading the game when kat claimed and the fact that so many people claimed townie for no reason is SUPER harmful to town

given the nature of Kat's lack, there's a few theories I have. given that kat was lynched D1, she couldn't have been targeted the previous night. so if Kat did not flip because an action was performed on her, the power role either targeted her before the game started (which i don't find likely tbh), or she was targeted some point during the day. looking at the votes, Kat's wagon only got real traction roughly an hour before the lynch. if she was targeted during the day, it was either super close to EoD or the power role did it earlier and just made sure to push her lynch. these are all possible but i don't think this is the case as a power role like that with the ability to target at any time seems a bit too broken to me. these theories work more if she's town/not maf

the other possibility is that her role is passive- which likely means she's maf. unless she was unaware that she wouldn't flip, a town kat would've def stated her passive role and not just claim townie. if she's maf and was aware that she wouldn't flip, it could partially explain why she didn't care too much to defend herself since she wouldn't be leaving behind any tracks if her teammates had/hadnt voted for her. but by giving up so easily, maf loses a number and a skilled teammate. from her last post, it seems that she had personal reasons to stop playing for the day, so im not sure that her giving up is alignment telling, and seems to be more personal. it could go either way

so TDLR i'm leaning towards Kat having a passive no-flip role- either it being an unaware town or aware maf. Im starting to think that its the latter, because of the lack of any strong counterwagon or defense of kat. but until we get an actual red flip, im going to focus less on kat's behavior since i can see it going either way

We're sharing because some of us think there's a theme going on in terms of role names, Kat shared without realising the theme might exist.

I think - assuming the theme is true - that it's likely a special role for mafia or third party, a.k.a something town wants to get rid of ASAP.

Yes, there's the possibility the whole role name theme thing is a lot of hooey, however, at this rate, lynching Kat and watching where that flips is the best way to confirm this. Is Kat flips town, we will know that following the pursuit of role names was a bad idea and to not focus on that again in the future.

toads suggests not trying to link role names with roles in the very beginning. why are you two so persistent on this? if anything, toads may be indirectly implying that roles are linked with not so obvious names. toads is literally saying its not going to help us

also dino's bolded quote looks very fabricated in hindsight. if maf is aware that Kat wouldn't flip at all, it gives an interesting perspective on how players viewed the lynch...

@Damniel since my first interactions with Kat I suspected her of being scum. I posted since my first list.

Now will give you a substantial answer, Since the begin of the game Antonio has given me a vibe of invincibility, like they already know they won't get killed tonight, aka they are mafia. Still feel the same.
Epona is just a hunch but same as Kat, I felt like they took an interest in me and it was for their own gain. Something feels off. Also wants to move the conversation, sometimes too fast.
