“Assorted” Collector
The last entry related to StarFall's pre-history was something around late May to early June. Around the end of Belcroft, I had to prepare for StarFall. One day, after making over 111 million Bells from multiple online trades, I decided that it's time to reset my town. And my old 3DS is dying. Due to the looks of other dream towns, it has inspired me to deleting Belcroft.
The first thing I did was that I had to sell all the GracieGrace furniture I already had. Then I had to gather all the valuable items I want to carry to the next town. After that, I deleted all of my alternative characters.
When Kaylee was the last one remaining in Belcroft, I was making plans on what I would do.
I was actually going to have TWO towns. One is StarFall, as the other is VeloCity (a parody of velocity, which is speed and displacement). StarFall was going to be an all-girls town, as VeloCity was going to be an all-boys town. I had to save all the items I wanted for both StarFall and VeloCity. In addition, all my human residents in StarFall were going to have fall birthdays as the VeloCity residents were going to have spring birthdays.
StarFall was going to be my modern-themed town, where I have illuminated projects, modern projects, and some of my other favorite PWPs, while VeloCity was going to be city-themed. In addition, my human characters were going to have these houses:
StarFall:
VeloCity:
However, things didn't go the way I planned. I could only take care of one town. Even if I'm a boy, I chose to go with the all-girls town of StarFall. Not to mention, but the reset villager trick puts the maximum number of humans I can have at 3 rather than four. So I went with Kaylee, Jenny, and Penny as my residents.
During the last road trip to Kansas (the same Kansas trip I went to Dave & Busters as mentioned on my Creativity Blog), I was trying to collect all the items for my next town. I wanted to get the Snowman Series, Ice Series, Mush Series, and the Ski Set. The Snowman Series was the only one I couldn't get, so I had to wait for someone to sell some items. The Ice Series, Mush Series, and Ski Theme were relatively easy to get. For the Ski Theme, I had to get two snowboards, two slalom gates, and two ski racks while I got one of each from the others. The curling stone was my last items I got.
Another thing I did in Belcroft was that I tried to get all works of art from Redd. I time traveled back and forth for both the legitimate paintings. I eventually got all 33. While I was at it, I aimed for some Saharah exclusives. Some I wanted to carry over to the next town. Others were for cataloging when I get StarFall.
When I created StarFall, I had to order all the furniture, carpets, and wallpaper I already had in my catalog in Belcroft so I could have a big catalog in StarFall. But as I was playing in Belcroft, I destroyed my town by large scale time traveling. I used Belcroft as a host town as I worked on StarFall.
I delivered the unorderables to StarFall from Belcroft while the orderables were picked up and discarded in Belcroft by Kaylee from StarFall. That's right, I have two Kaylees. One was for Belcroft, as the other was for StarFall. The Kaylee from StarFall was the Kaylee you know well. I even had to deliver the paintings, statues, the 111 million Bells, and some clothes for my characters (like the schoolgirl outfit for Kaylee).
In addition, I weeded Belcroft several times to work on Kaylee's weeding badge (StarFall). I also did large scale shopping for the shopping badge, 100 visits to StarFall for the train station renovation, and a few other things.
When I got StarFall prepared enough to the point I want it at, I could not hold onto Belcroft for any longer. With no money, special items, or anything like that, it was too late for Belcroft to be salvaged. I deleted Belcroft for good.
That's it for how I prepared for StarFall. Next entry will be details about my town as it's a tour of StarFall.
