Stereos outside

I actually hardly ever used the shuffle feature in NL, the main reason I finally tried it out was that back in 2017, after waiting since the game's release here in the US back in 2013, I finally got my hands on 7-11 DLC items. So, I decided to use them (with some assistance of other items as well from other sets) to create a 7-11-themed room in the Museum (using Celeste's customized rooms), and one thing I decided to do was put a tape deck in the room that I used the shuffle feature for! I largely chose it because I didn't know what K.K. Slider song would be fitting to play in a 7-11 LOL, and then I realized, most convenience stores have radios that play different songs at different times, which is why I realized the shuffle feature would be best to use for it. :p

Ah, that's really neat. Yeah it's pretty true that most convenience stores do play different music, so it would make sense to play different kinds. :)

That's one of the many reasons I've loved Animal Crossing ever since I bought City Folk in 2009: I can be as creative as I want with it! :D

This would be awesome, but it should definitely have an area of effect...then you can have different music around different areas of the town. :D

I have been wondering how this would work... I am really not sure! There is definitely a lot of possibles.
I likely would not mind the option, though!

I believe we will be able to listen to music outside, it seems counter intuitive to not be able to.

In Pocket Camp, there are certain items and amenities that play music to be heard only in proximity, so I imagine they'd do that with stereos in New Horizons but with a wider range. AC:GCN also had a morning aerobics class in which the radio they used could be heard an acre over. It'd be really perplexing and disappointing if stereos were not usable outdoors in New Horizons.

Also, I feel like that's where gyroids belong! haha. I'll probably actually use them in NH. Maybe make a little cemetery for them to mark graves at if I decide on a gothic island. I imagine they'd make noises per usual outdoors as well.

This is a great idea! I hardly use gyroids, but they would make hilarious lawn ornaments. :D
