how am i supposed to make a GIF file work on a thread i post?
i try and try but every time i put it on the thread
it shows a still picture and it will not move uuugh!
this is very annoying. also i will even put a render pic on my post but the background turns
all white and i just don't understand.

I think the problem is that it's an attachment. You need to upload it to an external site like you did with your signature.
i dont remember how i was on hiatus for a long time i just came back and forgot how to do all that lol my sig was made for me and all that stuff lol
Try dragging it into a site like Imgur and copy/paste the bbcode version where it says share.

I recommend always linking to external websites such as Imgur since the site's uploader compresses images quite horribly in general and costs you Bells.

You can't, but you can report the thread and ask for it to be closed.
mods prefer to keep ask threads open though, if someone else has the same problem
