I got a warning for posting one word on a thread once and it was considered spam. One word once answering a question. This forum is getting as strict as acc

It's not necessarily getting strict, it has always been a rule for post quality not to reply with one word. Even "yes" and "no" replies violate post quality rules.

I think Jake and many other people need to realise that rules are only guidelines, and that we as moderators warn at our own discretion. If we find something that is unnecessary, unwelcome or downright stupid on the forum regardless of whether or not it is against the rules, we are going to do something about it.

The same goes for bending the rules. We have guidelines about not posting one-word posts or GIF images, but on the odd occasion we're not going to get on somebody's heels about it if it has some context in a thread. The guideline is only there for abuse of such things.

Honestly, the only reason I see that you're mad Jake is because you send hundreds of reports each week to get these other users in trouble and instead you've now landed yourself with a warning. Most of the time you pick at the most insignificant details just because it slightly breaks a rule.

I'm closing this thread now, it's getting ridiculous. If you have any more issues feel free to PM me. That goes for anybody in this thread.
