Pretty much everything by Luis Bu?uel is very strange. Take a look at this scene from The Phantom of Liberty.

Well, today we watched From Beyond. It's a Lovecraft adaptation, but it's even weirder than you'd expect.

Jack and Jill, when I say that this movie is "strange", I mean strange in a TERRIBLE way.

My guess was that in 2011 someone wanted Adam Sandler to make a worse movie than Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part One and that's what this movie was in the end.

ooh! I've got one I just saw last week! The Guinea Pig Film 6: Mermaid in a Manhole. Not the strangest I've seen, but based purely on the plot/lack thereof, it's a contender.

tl;dr version:
- painter has artist block after his wife dies
- goes to a sewer his town built over a stream he used to play in
- finds a mermaid in the sewer
- woo! free muse! NAB.
- mermaid comes down with a case of the Mystery Boils
- no seriously mysterious boils EVERYWHERE
- mermaid screams and flails in artist's bathtub
- a lot
- this keeps going on
- fffff she's in pain, we get it
- woo! free pus/paint!
- TIME TO PAINT PEOPLE MELTING.
- more pus
- wow them's some boils
- suddenly worms
- everything is worms
- it sinks in: this is porn for somebody out there, isn't it
- more worms
- and more boils
- SUDDEN TWIST ENDING
- no wait what kind of a half-assed twist is that
- aaaaa why did I watch this.
- also why did the artist's "surprised" face look exactly like the Angry Video Game Nerd's.

Omg that film wasn't strange. It was about an hour of sex scenes then suddenly torture for the last part of the film. The part with the scissors was horrible. Dx

I love the way you describe the film. XD Yeah I think I might give that film a miss. It sounds pretty gross.
