I've been thinking about streaming ACNH when it comes out, like quite literally at 12am when I'm able to finally finish downloading it digitally.

Do you have any thoughts about this?
What would make you watch an Animal Crossing stream?
What would make it entertaining for you?

I'm open to advice, jokes, comments, threats, etc
LOL ty

My favorite Animal Crossing streamer does a couple of things. She knows her limits and only streams for a set amount of time. She interacts with her chat a lot. She takes breaks and encourages her audience to do the same. She is also really nice and positive and just a joy to watch.

If you have your Switch, you can download it anytime before 12am.

I will be streaming 12am est...or when the games gets done updating. Plus watch ac streams has a nice chill effect for me.

I use twitch and gamerwn is the name :)

I would watch it for the first impressions of someone else, but first I want to experience it myself. I have no real advice, but I watch some streamers who are all very different from eachother, but what connects them is authenticity. So i would advise to play your game the way you want to, so your enjoyment and reactions will be genuine.

thanks! any input is helpful :)

I probably won't be involved with streams, since I want to enjoy it first hand before anything else.

gotcha! thank you for the input :)
(and its very understandable i would want everyone to enjoy this amazing game however they feel!!)

Hey! Here are a few popular streamers/content creators for animal crossing lately: Josh from the BitBlock, Mischacrossing, simply pressstart, mayor mori, crossing channel, Wulff den and when animal crossing new leaf released, Lin and Ko were very popular! Watch their videos, observe what makes their channels good, how they interact with their viewers and such! It could help you plan how you want your stream to go, and how you want your viewers to be involved =) Some of these channels are more so informative, but they still have animal crossing passion which viewers enjoy :D Good luck!

yes i actually watched some of the ones you mentioned :)
thanks for your advice!! this helps!
i’m thinking of actually not streaming the release because a lot of feedback i’ve been getting is that 1. they’re playing so they wouldn’t watch 2. they’ll be watching someone else 3. they don’t want spoilers while waiting on their game

so maybe content will be like planning out my island, playing online with viewers somehow, showing the grind of collecting, selling etc

this is me thinking out loud haha

Ooo I miss kin and lo...watch them a ton when new leaf came out in Japan.
haha i searched them up and wow what a throwback! it’s also amazing to see how streaming has come so far from years ago haha

*disregard my phone double posted when i reopened Safari lol*

thanks everyone for the input :) i've decided i will not stream the release of the game, i'll play privately and will be streaming later when planning out island, playing with others etc! hope you all will be able to participate or just pop in when ya can :) https://www.twitch.tv/rojupanda

It's probably not a good idea to post this here, lots of people will just stick to their gaming experience.

I think the regular Animal Crossing player would only watch a stream if there was something different about it, like those speedrun challenges or something else completely different. Like trying to transform your island into something crazy,

Personally I've only seen Animal Crossing videos of people I watch anyway showing of their town. One of the channels I follow will play Animal Crossing for the first time, so I'm excited to see their experience and thoughts as a new player.

But I also think that a bunch of people will go out to look at New Horizons streams as soon as possible, whether they can't afford the game outside of holidays or whether they just want to see someone experience the game instead of getting an idea of the game by paid and professional reviews. But that'll be a one day only kind of thing.

if I want reading the twitch infor right there 81.9k viewers watching total. most have to stay home, even though there been many other videos and streams, I am going to do it to share the journey with any who wants to watch and hope I make their day :)

OO you from the city too! Brooklyn girl here!
ayyy! queensite here haha
