sorry if it's been asked, but is there a cap to the silver you get every couple of hours? i've been posting and commenting a lot recently but my silver seems to have stopped at 46 ahhh

i could be wrong but i don't think there's any distinction between basement posts and any other forums post this time. from what we've gathered so far, this is everything that grants streetpass silver and how many times they can be redeemed:

• commenting on a thread - 3 times
• viewing a thread - once
• making a thread - once
• reacting to posts - 3 times
• voting in a poll - once
• posting on someone's profile - 3 times
• viewing someone's profile - once

they all seem to refresh every 12 hours

EDIT: event submissions may also count towards one?

I’ve been trapped at 42 for eight hours, which is a huge bummer—it means that missing the first evening of the event might lock me out of hitting 600.

I have only gotten silver from one of my multiple profile posts. I also got no silver from my one poll vote. I’m very confused! I wish the cooldowns were a LITTLE less extreme so that I didn’t feel like I have to be checking back here every hour to see if something I do somehow matters again. If I can only get 42 silver every 12 hours I’m going to have to be on first thing in the morning every single day and as soon as I finish dinner—I kinda thought the point of the 600 cap was to prevent that feeling? Maybe I’m missing something.

there might be a difference between making a new profile comment and posting on a comment thread but otherwise idk man, both my rounds of silver gathering have been the same.

Around 10PM EDT every couple days during the Farewell to New Leaf event, all purchased Balloon Tokens will transform into a random colour of the specified balloon type. You can choose the type of balloon received by purchasing the Balloon Token of your choice, but the color cannot be chosen in advance.

i just noticed this part? will we know ahead of time when they will turn into colors? every couple of days sounds kinda vague

Yesss, I actually thought the same thing! But the cuteness of the bunny balloons is tempting... Although, the regular balloon tokens are cheaper, so I could still get some bunny balloon tokens too if I go for the regular balloon rainbow. I guess I'll probably do that then
