I’m personally getting a physical copy! I was leaning towards digital mostly due the convenience of not switching cartridges but ultimately decided that I wanted the actual box for this one! Plus I can hand it to my brother when I’m done c:
I buy physical copies as much as possible. The only time I go for digital is if the game is digital only or if the digital one is substantially cheaper than the physical. That doesn't happen very often because even $10 is not enough savings for me, especially because physical games actually go on sale a lot more often.
I haven't 100% decided if I'm going to buy this or not yet. If I do, it'll be physical.
Definitely the physical copy. Especially for a limited produced game, a physical makes the most sense for possible resale value in the future, and to add to ones game collection.
I collect Switch games in physical format, so, I pre-ordered the physical edition when it was announced. But...who knows whether I'll get it or not. Sounds like there are some serious problems with pre-orders already. Also, I know that Amazon will just say "yeah...we have your pre-order" and then say "item has been delayed indefinitely" when it comes time to ship. So...fingers crossed.
I'm a collector at heart so I've preordered a physical copy. Digital will always be more convenient, but nothing beats the feeling of a physical collection.
I'm not planning on getting the game, since I already own all the games and it'd be a pain for me to get a physical copy of it (which I strongly prefer over a digital copy), so I figure it isn't really worth it.
I've been really wanting to play Sunshine again ever since the rumors for this started to come out so I managed to get a physical preorder in. I thought about digital but decided on physical ultimately.
Physical because I know it's going to be a pain in the ass to get later. Scalpers are probably rubbing their hands together right now. I also need it to bypass the online check for my second Switch.
I almost got the physical game, but I ended up going with the digital. I have a small case for game cartridges and don't have a lot of room for boxes. If I were going to display the box, that would be one thing, but it would only get wrecked, and I have a huge SD card, so that makes more sense for me.
I pre-ordered a physical copy from Best Buy as soon as it was made available. I prefer to have physical copes anyways, because it makes me feel like I actually "own" the game, plus I always love stacking the cool game box art on my shelves
I prefer a physical copy but haven't pre-ordered yet (probably might shoot myself in the foot later down the line). You actually own the game without issue where having a digital copy only grants you the license to play it and not full ownership. Hopefully limited supplies won't be an issue because I don't see any logical reasoning behind it. You gotta feel for the people who don't really keep up with these kinds of news and then find out they were too late to buy the game.
Physical all the way. I always like going for physical due to collection purposes, and not to mention the fact that this is a limited-edition game. I also prefer knowing that I have full ownership of the game, rather than leaving up to Nintendo's shady policy where they can take anything down and leave you out to dry.
Physical! I prefer physical over digital as I love having a game in-hand. Plus it's limited-run, so it makes it even more special to have a physical copy.
Physical, so that it can be sold later at a higher price. Granted, I took the gamble and didn’t pre-order so I’m also hoping to get it 10$ off at Walmart.
