Mafia Super Smash Bros: Mafia! Game over! Mafia wins!

Anyway, some stuff that happened so far.

Nothing of relevance happened before post 300.
Tons of troll votes
Endless started an RQS. Personally, I find him voting for someone because they made one "forced post" weird, but it is day one and we barely have anything to go off of.

Anyway, the person that I find most suspicious at this point is Lucanosa.

Ok, from this we know that she's played mafia before in some form. It's from before the game started, but it does have something to do with the rest of this case.

****posting from the begining of the game. Votes for Oath2order 11 minutes later.

Ok, this bit makes no sense logically. First, why do you think that StarryWolf is suspicious? You provide absolutely no reasoning for it. And moreover, why do you consider oath2order suspicious? Again you provide no reasoning, and you again appear to have some sort of experience with mafia. Normally I would write this off as noobiness, but you should know by now to provide at least a little bit of reasoning because you have some experience in other forums.

Bandwagoning off of Call me Daniel and Endless. You seem to be trying to distance from both sides of argument and seem townlike. This is a pretty good post from a scum perspective. You acknowledge that Sap88 probably wasn't trying to slip away even if they were scum while leaving the possibility open for increased suspicion of them.

What is this supposed to mean? Did I miss something in the thread or what?

Since when is trying to prove you're town a bad thing?
Also, this is only post that I'm able to find that StarryWolf is pushing that their town.

So your basically using poor logic in accusations (along with Call me Daniel right then)

Oh, and apparently questioning people about their motives for voting for someone is bad to now. Few scum would intentionally defend their teammates in the thread because it would result in the connection being found between them. I'm pretty sure that was what you were trying to imply here about Call me Daniel questioning Nintendofan about who he was voting for.

Conclusion: Lucanosa is trying to ride through the game whilst making few contributions to the town. They are also using poor logic in their accusations. Rip me, I'm tired. Good night everyone

Also, I want to hear more from at least half of the playerlist

How often do I expect to post: 2-7 times per day/night cycle
Which Player do I know best: Mafia wise, I can read oath like a book
Yellow, Green, or Red Button: I don't know, if I don't know what they do, then Green

Dolby I think you're confusing your classic noobie playstyle with scum playstyle.

It's really late for me so I'm on mobile and I can't copy and past for some reason but
On pages 20,26, and 33, she keeps saying stuff like "Ugh I have should a boring role" or "If I was Mafia..."
I see this as pushing a claim, but she acts like that all the time so I'm not thinking too hard on it now.

I'll post my scum reads tomorrow when I'm fully awake.

Also those who have voted because they agree with someone, is like to see if you have any further insight or thoughts.

Could you please specify who is saying this rather than just saying "she"? Or at least just put some quality into your post before you actually reply. You may as well have waited until morning anyway.

Going to bed, but I would like to hear from literally half of the players who have posted very little.

I find Dolby's case very interesting, but there's still little to go off of. Most of you said it was day 1 and there isn't much we can do at the moment. I have scum suspicions of Endless and Lucanosa at the moment, but I'm kind of too lazy to look for support someone else hasn't already brought up. I'll post a case if I find anything case-worthy later on in the game.

You can only accurately determine mafia after content has been created. So yes, I'm pushing on people. Evaluate my motivation for this action though: am I doing this to get someone lynched or to attempt to help town to find mafia? It's either the latter or me pretending to do the latter - which in both cases it wouldn't be a red tell. If you red read people for producing content and pushing people then that reinforces a behaviour you don't want. (Holding of the vote and lack of content production.)

Needless to say, there's nothing stopping me being mafia, but if I am mafia then it isn't because I'm pushing people.

this is so horribly wrong that it's almost ascending to the tier of amusing. Asking people about their motivation for an action is a quintessential example of scumhunting, as it helps you discern their read progression and thought process, and whether it makes sense or doesn't.

That being said, Daniels mafia if anything. But that's a read that has nothing to do with them questioning people and that I'll explain after I get on my comp, which will happen some time in the next 8 hours.

I don't expect to be on much later, so I'm voting Daniel just based on Ender being suspicious of them. Past two games Ender's been pretty good at getting at least one scum member day one.

I'll straight up say, this is the weakest Day 1 read I've had in a while. Where the last two games I was probably 80-90% sure, this time I'm a lot less sure.

Just putting this down now
Yes I am pushing that I'm town, but that's like every other single game I have played. I always push that I am town.

Yeah i voted for myself as a joke I should really unvote now lol

You seem to be pushing the fact that your not Mafia a lot.

Any reason you're voting Lucanosa?

She's probably just bandwagoning like she always does.

Damn quote glitch, didn't mean to quote the first quote.

I'm going to wait of on my scum reads to give the inactive players some time to post and try to read them.

Another goodish morning to you all & I didn't realize Trundle was going to be playing either.
Everything interesting happened after I decided to go upstairs and watch Netflix :p
I don't necessarily agree with Dolby's insight on Lus. She plays exactly like I did when I was newish & in my second game.
With no Mafia team to keep me from saying something suspicious I ended up getting lynched on the first day, even though I was a townie.
This is by no means a defense to her and I don't think how she is playing should be completely excused by the fact that she is a new player, but it may be more beneficial for us to read into someone who's more.. seasoned so to speak.
Like sure, you've got a chance at catching a small rabbit but you could also go for bigger game.
If that makes any sense :p. I haven't had my breakfast yet.

I was about to post this quote from you to back up my point, but YOU had to post and now it doesn't look as nice as I wanted :(
Dolby I think you're confusing your classic noobie playstyle with scum playstyle.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts

I understand that the people who have barely posted are new and probably don't know what day, but any insight or thoughts any of you have so far would be great to hear before I do my scum reads.

The mafia I've played before wasn't on another forum, it was irl mafia (i.e. the quick version). This is my first forum mafia; I'm familiar with the game and strategies, but obviously forum mafia is a whole different thing from what I'm used to.

Also, the reason I randomly chose oath/starry to lynch was because I had no leads or clues as to who to vote, and they were the first choice in mind. In irl mafia, at least the one I played, the game begins with a murder or a lynch at random. Since the game is fast running, you don't try to piece together any clues day 1; everyone agrees to immediately lynch someone at random. Which is why I chose them.

(Quotes glitching for me again in this thread)

But this type of Mafia gives you entire days(48 hours) to make a decision. You should have been well aware of the amount of time you had so I don't know why you would vote so quickly. Either you didn't read(which is possible since you also asked questions about lynching when the op clearly stated it in bold), or your just giving yourself a convienent excuse.

Also, may I ask your reason for voting?
