They claim jack but they're most likely Mafia. They shot Tom, self admitted, said they inspected Cory (kumkwat at the time apparently) and he came back town & that he claimed doctor. A failed attempt to clear a fellow scummate He realized he screwed up when he read back and saw that the doctor, was dead.
Ash thinks he's scum

& others. I also brought up a few points on trundle earlier in the game but they kind of went ignored so.

Unless by some miracle one of the masons is a jack, you're unsavable. They're not dumb as a whole, Cory or Haydenn or maybe even Trundle or Starry was able to narrow down the list of roles and snipe out Luca. When cop outs and doctor is still alive, mafia will always try and find the doctor and kill them first. I've seen some exceptions (most stupid or the result of inactivity) but yeah.
