I don't put any sugar in my tea. I just don't like how it tastes. I only had sweet tea a couple times, and did not enjoy it.

As someone who grew up in the southeastern U.S., sweet tea is where it is at! :D

Definitely sweet tea! I can drink unsweetened if it's given to me, but I will always prefer sweet tea.

I prefer sweetened if its iced tea or otherwise cold tea.

But for hot tea, i prefer unsweetened. sometimes a splash of cream, like in Irish or Scottish breakfast blend. but nothing added for Darjeeling, for pu-ehr, or for any green teas served hot.

unsweetened if you mean by adding sugar, honey etc. although if I have a cold I might chip in some honey for the throat.

are we talking iced tea or hot tea?

either way, I'm far more accustomed to the latter, which I dump in a ton of sugar packets when it's plain, so...

Do you consider tea with lemon to be sweetened?

personally speaking, no

I do use lemon too though when it's available, but I consider it an extra flavoring

If it's specifically chai or iced tea, I like sweetened tea, but as a general rule of thumb, I tend to drink a lot of unsweetened herbal tea.

Definitely sweet tea. I grew up in the South, and have always lived here, so I definitely love it. However, funnily enough, despite my Southern roots, my mom's side of the family doesn't like sweet tea.:p

Sweetened for sure. I have a huge sweet tooth so I like sweet things. I also like my tea strong lol.
