Welcome to Switch Stars! Video games have long been a sleepover staple, and this slumber party is no different! Join us in playing our favourite Nintendo Switch games with your fellow forum-goers and earn some tickets!
Please note: the deadline to submit your screenshots is Monday, September 14th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Fair Time. Thanks for playing!
How to Participate- Add all of the hosts' friend codes below - this will ensure you are able to play no matter who's hosting.
- Fill in the sign-up form below and post it in the thread. This is for us to gauge how many participants there will be in a session and to make note of in-game names. We will not be manually assigning people to sessions! - All are welcome as long as there is space!
- Show up on your desired time and enter the lobby when you see that it is open/available. Join us on Discord for easy communication.
- Take a screenshot during the session to show you participated (e.g., MK8D race results, Splatoon 2 results, SSBU results, etc.)
- After the session is over, post your picture as a new thread in the Private Contest and Event Submission board, using the Event Name Switch Stars. More details on how to submit your screenshot can be found here.
With that, anyone being aggressively competitive or going overboard with the trash-talk or salt will be removed from the session and potentially barred from participating in future sessions. That's not in the spirit of this event and will not be tolerated.
‼ Please note: You may participate in as many sessions as you'd like, but you will only earn tickets for one session per week of either Switch Stars or Tiptoe to the Tunes. Please only submit one screenshot per week! More details on tickets can be found in the Prizes section below.
Before & during each match, the host will be in the Switch Stars Discord to answer any questions and chat (or get salty) about games, so feel free to join in on the fun! Instructions on how to join the Discord can be found here. Feel free to post questions below as well!

If you are unable to participate in any of the times above, you can still earn tickets by participating in the upcoming Splatfest - Chicken
v.s. Egg! 
Anytime during the Splatfest, grab a team of four TBT members and post a screenshot of yourselves playing in the Private Contest and Event Submission board to earn the equivalent of one session. Each team member must submit a screenshot to be eligible for tickets.This Splatfest starts August 21st, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Fair Time and ends August 23rd, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Fair Time.
Super Smash Brothers Ultimate- One-on-one matches (3 stocks, 4-minute max per round). Two players will battle: winner will stay in the arena, last-place player goes to the back of the line and the next person in line battles the winner
- All characters allowed
- Allowed stages: Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Final Destination, Fountain of Dreams, Smashville & a few others with few hazards for best performance
- No items, Amiibo, spirits, or custom stages
- Max players per arena: 5-8 including host
