COUSTEAU IN BOXES
Cousteau (ハルマキ, Harumaki) is a jock frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Forest, but was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World and made a reappearance in Animal Crossing: City Folk. His name is French, and some famous Frenchmen have had it as a second name. His name and personality together may refer to Jacques Cousteau. His initial phrase, "oui oui," is French for, "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just "yes"). His species relates to the common French stereotype in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frog's legs. Like Cousteau, Gaston the rabbit and Marcel the dog are French.

Her chosen name is similar to Felis, which is the real-world scientific genus of many cats, and the name Felicity, a popular girl name. Her initial phrase could be a reference to her personality type, as it appears to be singing.
