COUSTEAU IN BOXES
latest

Cousteau (ハルマキ, Harumaki) is a jock frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Forest, but was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World and made a reappearance in Animal Crossing: City Folk. His name is French, and some famous Frenchmen have had it as a second name. His name and personality together may refer to Jacques Cousteau. His initial phrase, "oui oui," is French for, "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just "yes"). His species relates to the common French stereotype in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frog's legs. Like Cousteau, Gaston the rabbit and Marcel the dog are French.

However, Cousteau being labelled as French exists only outside of Japan. His name in Japanese is the word "Spring Roll," a traditionally Chinese dish. Thus, his name, house, as well as his appearance may lead him to be labelled as Chinese by some.

Appearance

Cousteau is a yellow frog with orange spots. He also has a black mustache on his face which goes with his French name and quote. His original shirt is a Vegetarian Shirt, which may relate to another French stereotype, that the French are professional cooks - although vegetarian restaurants are rare there, which makes it debatable. He may be mistaken for a cranky villager due to his elderly and adult appearance.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.

Cousteau
As a jock villager, he will be outgoing and will always enjoy exercising and staying fit and is friendly towards the player, but he won't get along with lazy villagers due to their lack of exercising and he won't get along with snooty villagers since he doesn't care about fashion and he will ask about their weight and physical appearance. He will get along with normal and peppy villagers.

House

Cousteau has many items from the Exotic Series, such as the Exotic Bed and the Exotic Screen. He also uses the matching Wall and Flooring, the Exotic Rug and the Exotic Wall. Imperial K.K. plays on a Reel-To-Reel to fit the Asian feel of it.

FAUNA IN BOXES - please place a bid if you want to adopt her (✿◠‿◠) - BUYOUT is 200 TBT
latest

Fauna (ドレミ, Doremi) is a normal deer villager introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her Japanese name references the solfege syllables- a female deer is called a doe, as well. Her English name references the name for a young deer, a fawn. The word "fauna" can also be used to mean animals. Her phrase is a pun on the words deer and dear.

Appearance

Fauna is a brown deer with ruddy cheeks, a black nose, and pink inside her ears. She has circular, black eyes that have round white highlights in the center and two eyelashes at the bottom. Her hooves are bright yellow. She has bright spots on the back of her head much like a real fawn. She carries a leaf umbrella when it rains.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.

Fauna is a normal villager. She does not seem to get along with snooty or cranky villagers, due to their bombastic personalities. She wakes up early; at 5 AM and is kind with other normal, lazy, smug, jock and peppy villagers. She acts maternally towards lazy and peppy villagers, who tend to have childish personalities. She will bounce back to the player and give them a piece of furniture or clothing after being upset about the player for a while for the player's apology and fault.

House

Fauna has somewhat of a retro theme in her house, with furniture from different sets. She has a retro stereo playing K.K. Stroll, a radiator, household plant and a classic bed. Her brightly-colored walls and floor, mismatched wood furniture, and retro stereo suggest the decor of the 70s.

Appearance

Merengue's body is light pink with a white layer that covers the top of her head and smaller horn that looks like whipped cream. FELICITY IN BOXES
latest

Felicity (みかっち, Mikacchi) is a peppy cat villager who first appeared Dōbutsu no Mori e+, and reappears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Her chosen name is similar to Felis, which is the real-world scientific genus of many cats, and the name Felicity, a popular girl name. Her initial phrase could be a reference to her personality type, as it appears to be singing.

Appearance

Felicity is a cat with creamish white fur, and has reddish-brown hair. Felicity has lovely pink cheeks and big eyes. Her ears are pink inside, and she has a small red nose. She initially wears the Dapper Shirt. Since her eyes aren't too wide and she has a small smile, she's often mistaken for a normal villager. She looks similar to Merry, another cat villager.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.

As a peppy villager, Felicity will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future. She will get on well with normal, lazy, jock, and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality. She may also carry traits of a snooty villager, but dislikes gossip.

House

Felicity's house in Dōbutsu no Mori e+ uses the same furniture set up as Betty's house, only that she has used the Meadow Vista and the Daisy Meadow for her choice of wallpaper and flooring.

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Felicity's house has an outdoor theme and a living room theme to it to with furniture such as the Pine Table and Chairs and a sink which gives it the feel of a typical household. Felicity has the Meadow Vista and Daisy Meadow as her choice of wallpaper and flooring and if she is given a stereo, it will play K.K. Lullaby.

Name Origin

Felicity is similar to the real-word Scientific name for cats called "Felis" and is also a popular feminine name.
Mikacchi is a combination of みか, beautiful in Japanese, and っち, a suffix to put on nicknames.
