ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

"Whoa..."

? Picture quote, Animal Crossing: Wild World
Moe (ジンペイ,, Jinpei?) is a lazy cat villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name possibly comes from the sound a cat often makes, the Chinese, "Mao," meaning cat, or after the rare breed of cat (the Egyptian Mau) depending on the pronunciation of his name. His catchphrase, myawn, it a combination of the sound a cat makes, meow, and yawning, which reflects his lazy personality. His Japanese name, Jinpei, is a common name in Japan.

Appearance

Moe is a dark blue cat with light blue swirling stripes on several areas of his body. Moe has a pudge-like nose and forgiving, half-opened eyes with a yellow back; his pupils are vertical, thin, and black. His ears are held straight and are pink on the inside. He has a blue striped tail, arms, and legs with white, sock-looking marks on his paws and feet. His muzzle is also white. In Dōbutsu no Mori e+, Moe initially wears the Fish Bone Shirt. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, Moe initially wears the BB shirt. His looks is extremely identical to another cat villager, Tom.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Moe will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food (fishing). He will get along well with normal and peppy villagers. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice. He does not get along with cranky villagers. Cranky villagers will get angry when talking to Moe and start to yell at him. He gets offended very easily, and will get really upset.

House

In Dōbutsu no Mori e+, Moe has the same house as Bubbles the hippo, with the difference that the carpet is the Classroom Floor and the wallpaper is the Green Wall.

Both in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, Moe has part of a classroom theme in his house. Moe's house has the green wall and the music room floor. Originally, his house contains a Blue bed, a kiddie dresser, an anatomical model, a green table, a dice stereo, a vision tester, model skeleton, and a stadiometer. His Dice Stereo plays K.K. Ragtime.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, his house resembles a hospital ward. He has the stripe bed and matching sofa, an office desk, a hospital screen and vision tester, the blue wall and classroom floor.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

"Hai-ya!"

? Picture quote, Animal Crossing: Wild World
Genji (ゲンジ,, Genji?) is a jock rabbit villager in the Animal Crossing series. He retains his name from the Japanese version, and both reference the titular character of The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu, which is considered by some to be the world's first novel. His initial phrase, "otaku," is a formal second-person pronoun in Japanese; it can also refer to someone with an obsessive personality, which reflects on jock villagers' fitness and health obsessions.

Appearance

Genji is a white rabbit with dark mahogany brown ears and light pink cheeks. The brown from his ears go down to circle all the way around his head. He has squinted eyes and a constant frown, making him look like a cranky villager. His paws, feet, and bunny tail are tipped chocolate brown while the rest is white except his ears. He also has tiny, round eyebrows that are brown. He initially wears the misty shirt- a green shirt that has white mist clouds on it. On rainy days, he carries a paper parasol. His mouth is in a straight line with pale blue eyes.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Genji has a jock personality, which means he will have a keen interest in sport and fitness, making him appear competitive and in some cases rude when talking to other villagers, usually criticizing their fitness regime. He will appear slow-witted and absent-minded when in deep, meaningful discussions. He will get along well with peppy villagers, but get confused by the choice of lifestyle followed by lazy villagers, who appear opposite to the jock personality. He may offend and upset snooty and cranky villagers, by questioning their physical fitness and age, but he will get along with normal villagers, but may, on the rare occasion, anger them. He likes clothes and will often ask for a certain shirt. He is crazy about bugs and will often have you get him one. He may ask you to find a rarer bug than him (he will say something like you're lazy or slacking off before)

House

Genji's house is the style of a Zen Garden, similar in design to Pekoe or Kabuki's house. He has the Sea View and the Shanty Mat. He plays King K.K. or K.K. Folk on his Tape Deck and has a Hearth, a Tall Lantern, and some other pieces to complete his Zen theme.

Trivia

Genji's initial catchphrase in Japanese, maro (まろ, maro?), has multiple meanings. It can be a reference to Genji's namesake, as it is a first-person pronoun used by those of noble birth. It is also a slang expression for someone with thin or shaved eyebrows.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Benedict (ぺしみち,, Peshimichi?) is a lazy chicken villager from the Animal Crossing series. His name most likely comes from the meal, "eggs benedict", which consists of a poached egg placed with bacon on an English muffin and covered in Hollandaise sauce. He originally appeared in the Japanese only Dōbutsu no Mori e+, and returned in Animal Crossing: Wild World. He appears on the album cover for K.K. March.

Appearance

Benedict is a scarlet red rooster, with a white face with swollen cheeks along with white tips on his wings and tail and has a yellow beak along with yellow legs and a comb. His eyes are completely black and his eyebrows are nearly stable and black as well and when he smiles, he closes his eyes. His initial clothing is the Two-Ball Shirt when he moves into town at first.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Benedict will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food, relaxing, and resting. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food (fishing). He will get along well with normal, peppy, and other lazy villagers. He may offend or confuse cranky and snooty villagers who have a conflicting lifestyle of rudeness and gossip and do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice.

House

In Dōbutsu no Mori e+, Benedict has the same funirture styling as Penny does, only that he has used the Backyard fence and Charcoal Flooring for his choice of Wallpaper and Flooring. His Tape Deck plays I Love You.

Benedict's house in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk keeps the construction theme similar to his house in Dōbutsu no Mori e+. He has many items from the Construction Theme in his home, but also has the Wave Breaker, as well as a hospital bed and a drilloid. If given a stereo, it will play I Love You, a rather bizarre choice that contrasts the theme of his house.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Benedict's house has the theme of a barbecue, with many items such as the Backyard Pool and the barbeque. He has a Red boombox.
