Mafia TBT Mafia II: Mafia Strike Back [Game Over/Mafia Win]

Yeah, you kind of answered your own question. There's a good reason for keeping the Townies alive. I'm just worried about who's secretly spying.

Beary, you should prepare a good defense during your silence.

Think of why you are suspected, then prepare truthful reasons if you are in the Town. Just prepare for questions.

You're just digging yourself a deeper grave right now with the way you're acting.

Oh, the bandwagoning? I see. Beary, just say calm try to give reasons for your slip-ups if asked. Otherwise, stay quiet.

Don't tell me you are all going to make a list if suspicions with Beary at the top now. All that is based on is the same flimsy logic you used to lynch Dolby THE TOWNIE.

Need to calm down with the finger pointing and the 'defend yourselves!'. All that happens at this starting poin of the game is people pick out a few minor details, a new player flips green under pressure, accusations come in insurmountable numbers and boom the bandwagon starts. Before tomorrow's lynch, everyone take a good look at Dolby's post's so in the future you can better tell a Mafiosa-scum lie from a scared townie.

Jeesh. Damn timezones.

When I said that for voting, I wasn't really familiar with the game, and I thought I would just do what everyone else is doing. I have learned my lesson.
I'm very socially awkward in real life, and I slip up easily...

As I see some of you townies are currently having trouble, let me give you some advice on how to make the best of a townie role.
There are two "weapons" that the townie has: their voting ability and their brain. Even though it's good to participate, there's a big difference between contributing and posting a lot. If you have something good to say, that's great. Go ahead and make your points, but, do not get in the way. Don't try to act suspicious, because if you do, you're just giving the mafia an easy victory. If the town ends up lynching more and more townies, that's exactly what the mafia wants. Stay low, and help when you can. Don't bother posting just for the sake of activity, only post when you have something to contribute.

And so I don't steal credit here, I pretty much summarized what I learned from here: http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Antrax's_Guide_to_Being_a_Good_Townie

Well looks like Dobly was a townie, but it's okay. And a plus is we got one mafia member killed.

Good luck to everyone tonight. I may post again later, but for right now I'm going tow wait and listen.

We didn't have much information to use, so it was a hit and miss. Although, later in the game, we will have new info from detectives and stuff.

Hmm.. okay.

Maybe we should always do that, Gandalf. Check suspects' posts and determine who they might be.

I doubt a detective will use a role check on you especially when there's more bigger fish to check out first. If you're Mafia you're bound to slip up, if you're not you need to be careful on how you post/word things. And like I've stated before, if a detective were to role check you and state your innocence there's the problem of the detective risking their life for yours. Nobody has really stepped up to try to guide us in the right direction(even though there is no direction to steer since it's only night one) but no one has really shown an investigative side either. Trying to gain our trust. If a detective were to say "it's alright everybody, this person is a townie." What's stopping the mafia from doing the same thing to help their fellow members out, especially since we don't know how many detectives are in the game. I'm hoping the detective really steps up while keeping their role invisible.

Espevially if they tend to post random stuff often.

That's our problem. If the Detective tries to convince us, as if they're guessing and no one believes them, it is a check wasfdd.
