Mafia TBT Mafia VIII: Dark Lord Ascending [Game Over/Town Win]

Well to be fair, there is not much use in inspecting them tonight considering right now they are a pretty high candidate for being imperiused.

And don't even use that as evidence. Kit has posted 21312938723 times and I'm sorry that I was unfortunate enough to have her repeat something I posted.

Very easy for my tired eyes to make that mistake, but that first line is what I was referencing.
 
Great. Truffles dead. I think now we should be finding another leader, as we need someone holding place.

this is a nice dream but doubtful, unless tomorrow the cop is able to out any useful info or something like that. That being said we have to wait 50hrs before we can get any useful info so

I think it's very unlikely that we're going to be in the sort of position again where we can trust someone in the same way we did with Truffle. It's easy to fake: a DT inspection; a vig shot; a vet hit; and in the right hands it's even possible to fake a medic hit/save. On top of that, we've Lord Voldemort (aka the godfather) in play which will skew detective results and indirectly clear them as town.

I think it's too risky to try and trust someone like that, even when we reach Day 2. Mafia can trick us into making us believe they're confirmed town. I don't think we'll be able to get a proper positive read until later in the game.

Town has managed fine in other games without a role like Harry Potter, so I think we'll be okay this game too. We've already made a dent in the mafia (big thanks to Truffle!) but that's no reason for us to let our guard down.

I agree, we really can't trust anyone at this point since no one is confirmed. But some people might notice if any returning players are acting scummy/different.
 
Not only did we lose our most trusted player and the list of blue roles, but now we will also have two extra losses (since Truffle had two night lives). Shame he didn't share the info about the overlapping blue roles earlier :/

Anyway, like Tina said it's not impossible. There's still over a day left and I'd like to see more posts. I have another two suspects that I'd like to build cases on but there's not many posts to go off of yet. That being said, we still have over a day left to dig out the remaining scum other than Beary / iLoveYou so post your suspicions so we can discuss.

(Also, with this situation does it mean that lynn105 is clear, as well as maybe Ashtot?)

Currently in the spotlight is DarkNightMoon, anyone want to add on? (She hasn't been online thus unable to post a defense).
 
I want those dammed counter claims. Really want them. That was a brilliant display of playing to win or sheer dumb luck Kayla, playing against your personal win condition to save the other scum Truffle had lined up and ready to lynch.

There's no way Kayla would know that Truffle would unintentionally break the rules from that.

Well I don't feel sorry for you what so ever.

Anyways, I posted that perhaps we should inspect DNM. However, now maybe it was cause complications?
Let me elaborate, others have said that if we inspect DNM and she is town, someone would cast a spell or mafia would frame her to make her appear as mafia.
But..what if she is the godfather, and comes back as town and we don't worry about her anymore??
I suggest we keep an eye on her.
For those of you who hate me, find me annoying, and flat out act negatively to me for no logical or rational reason, this is the last time I will agnolage you in one of my posts. Just for future reference.
So, if you would like for form a reasonable case against me, I would love to hear it, and I would love even more to defend agasint it.
Another name that has been brought up is Dolby. From what I have seen, he has barley posted and we really should keep an eye on him.

So I think a good person to keep an eye on would be Cory, and no not for the lynchcory2014 thing or whatever it is. Some of the things he's said in the irc isn't consistent with his claim to be town.

This was also said in the thread here. He doesn't seem all that broken up about truffle being modkilled either.
