A decent theory and it's great that you brought this to attention. However, I want to point out that the EXALT Rookie has no special powers and that EXALT doesn't have KP (Right?) - So the newly converted scum member isn't exactly a major threat. Let's just take everything Aerious says with a grain of salt. (I kind of already did anyways..)

Let's talk about the Night Kills. Three people dead. The EXALT team only had one killing action to use on Night 1 I believe - The rocket launcher strike. It's possible that one of the three kills was indeed made by that, but it's surprising that there was no splash casualties in that case. It's more like that all three were made by the Aliens, and it's also possible that a fourth person was implanted with an embryo by the Chryssalid.

This could mean that we're looking at SIX Aliens (KP of 3) - One of which is probably the Chryssalid (If there is one in the game). With the new EXALT Rookie, and judging from the game size, I would guess they're probably at least 4 or 5 on that team too. This leads me to feel that going after an XCOM Rookie who might've been converted to an EXALT Rookie should not be the top priority for todays lynch. However, having a Vig take Aerious out if they continue to seem suspicious is probably not a bad idea.

Then how about finding another player who is suspicious.

Okay, so I have a thought and I'm wondering what other people think. Now Cory was targeted by a few people early on in the game, however it seemed to later die down. Now I feel the person that was most adamant about getting Cory gone was Tom and now Cory's dead so obviously he was targeted for a reason. Perhaps it's a coincidence but it's worth noting.

No, Cory most likely died because he claimed Watcher. Scum then either didn't see where he posted that he was actually a townie or chose to not believe it and decided to kill him believing he truly was the Watcher. If Cory died because one of th epeople pushing him for lynch targeted him, it was through a vig-shot.

All righty then

Could you quote the first couple PMs? I can't really read them.

I don't think Ash was trying to combine those two points into one in anyway. He was just saying that I made a good point and gave reasoning that Aerious is suspicious to him because she went and accused Oath and then just stopped talking (nothing to do with being culted).

Ah okay, I was just confused.

I honestly believe Tom is town. I guess someone on the scum team killed Cory for personal reasons or they truly believed he was a watcher (even though he said he wasn't later). He wouldn't have killed Cory as scum, that would've been silly.

Ninja'd. I was just going to say something about that as well, but I still feel it's something worth noting. Tom has been really quiet lately I feel.

Just posting my thoughts :x

Aye - I mentioned a few names before but I really think that MewMew is acting completely out of character this game. She has not been very active and she's not been responding to the PM I sent her, but she HAS been online on TBT overall. Furthermore, I called ShinySandwich out repeatedly some pages back, and they responded to me quickly - But they gave me an incredibly poor defense, and then continued posting in other threads on TBT rather than actively participate in the conversation I was trying to start up with them. Both of these players could certainly be scum trying to slip by for a while.

As for the stronger players, they're always harder to read - Yui Z has not spoken much yet but she recently stepped in to replace Amaze, so we'll have to give her some time. And it would be nice to hear a little bit more from Minties, about whom they find suspicious, though the posts they've made so far has been solid. Both Tina and MissNoodle obviously trusted Oath and then ended up dead, but Tina told me that she was convinced Oath was innocent - Why would he kill her if she didn't suspect him at all, if he was scum?

Does a Chryssalid add to KP?

Chryssalid is counted in the Alien team, so they do contribute to the number of KP. They just cannot send KP unless the rest of their team dies as they cannot communicate with them.

Okay. I think Aerious was the one who got sent to EXALT and is now converted. She wouldn't shut up about wanting to be recruited into EXALT last night and this morning. She at least had to have known that the only way to get recruited is to be sent to EXALT. Thus, I believe she received a PM saying she was the one being sent and began hoping that EXALT would recruit her.

I can totally see it. I don't know if she would have been a very large window of time between her receiving a pm from Fel saying that she was chosen for Central's operation and her being recruited though... like I feel like Fel is pretty much on top of everything and wouldn't leave that window of time open, you know?

Either way she's completely low priority. If she was sent, she was an xcom rookie, if she was recruited she's an EXALT rookie (theres realy not a lot they can do tbh) So we probably have bigger fish to fry here.

Where is Cap at? I don't think I've seen any posts from her since early yesterday...

I'll have to agree with you on the last one.

Though I think Oath is smart enough to not kill a blue right after they tell them their role..

maybe that is what oath is banking on. there are few more effective tactics than a smart player using a dumb tactic to throw people off. oath also being so open with the conversation with noodle could also just be a tactic so that we believe his innocence.

I want to see the PMs Capella exchanged with Noodles so I can look at them as well. There's also a chance that neither of them are guilty of her death and it could have been somebody else she trusted enough to exchange a PM with that she probably shouldn't have trusted. It's good to start with what you have though.

I have absolutely nothing to hide, that's why I'm sharing it.

If it was, wouldn't she have specified who it was in her will? It wouldn't make sense to include 2 and leave one out, would it?

Why would she have PM'd someone else but not included in her will?

i do not think this is the case. but i do not think that aerious is town.
but i would like to see what exactly aerious said about wanting to be converted to exalt.

Could you share the defense Shiny gave you with us? Or if it's already buried somewhere in the thread, point it out? If it's the latter it makes me feel lazy to ask you to do that, but frigging kermit memes and petty arguments man.

I'd really like to hear from Aerious, even after all this talk she's said nothing to defend herself. She's usually very vocal about everything.
