Okay, from what I'm seeing so far, and from the influence of votes away from Sataric, I'm going to have to go for him. The behavioral change is all there, and Kaiaa made a really good post on the last page. Also, Kaiaa's behavior leads me to believe she is town. Not sure why everyone is jumping on Dolby, but to me it looks like a scum's attempt to take the Dolby Day 1 Train out instead of losing a scum first day. I encourage you, if you're town, to vote for Sataric, as it's true that he has had quite the behavior change. The only problem is that we still aren't 100% of his role in Apocalypse, which is the problem with starting one mafia before another ended.

I agree that I have behaved strangely in this game so far, and from time to time in the SuperNatural game as well, but I have good reasons for this - I messed it up by appearing way too overconfident though, and I have a very logical explanation for my actions but forwarding it in the thread would be too much of a risk and it'd ruin my efforts. All I ask is for some time to prove my allegiance to Town. Just give me one more day. That will likely be all I need.

Just saw this, I agree with this. I don't know about the rest of you but I get a bit egotistical and full of myself as scum (hence bluesniper claims at the end). I don't recall seeing as much of Sateric's ego in supernatural mafia. Also that sort of emotional fight with SP, I don't recall seeing that in supernatural mafia, but I havn't been paying attention to it
Though I have some suspicion on Cory (please don't take offense at this) it's a good case but it took you about three hours to post, a bit to long for that in my opinion, that got me thinking back to mm3, you wanted our help with something in the thread (I don't know if it was artificially starting a case or defending yourself) and we said no. Maybe your scum this game and getting help from your teammates (that's right people, I'm a conspirency theorist)? Just a far flung theory.
I'm leaning more towards Sateric for my vote unless something changes my mind in the next twenty minutes

I'm going to vote for Sataric, mostly because his large ego, and the two cases. Yes, kind of bad points, but I'm almost late for school !

I was gone studying for finals, I won't be here much this or next week =p Update on that by the way, in case you missed it: This week and next week I'm focused on school and my little brothers graduation. I will do my very best to make a minimum of one post a day but if I can help it, as long as my posts help further the discussion, I will make more. I hate posting unless it helps further the discussion in the game you know, like this post doesn't help but I had to let you know what's going on.

My attitude was very poor yesterday but it was a tactical ploy on my part (that I admit went horribly wrong) - I will change it and play differently from now on. All I ask is for one more day to prove myself worthy of participating in the game. Please consider giving me the chance.

I might as well lay it all out there:

As this game round started, I was given weakest of the roles in the Town lineup (The Townie), so I decided I would try and make the most out of it nonetheless by acting in the thread as if the role I had was very powerful and that I would be a threat to the scum. But it did not work out as intended. Instead I just seemed really scummy myself, and came across as arrogant.

I was intentionally trying to come across as way more useful and dangerous than I really am, in an attempt to get the Scum players to categorize me with the strong veteran players rather than the not-so-threatening ones, hoping that they would perhaps waste a night kill on me early on instead of killing off a more important role. But it misfired dramatically, and I crossed the line too far, and looking back at it I ended up doing more harm than good with the distractions it caused for the Town.

I attempted to do some damage control and dropped subtle hints by saying that "It is just a game" and whatnot so people would perhaps figure out that this was part of my tactics, but I think it was too little and too late. It was a rather stupid tactic - I can see that now. And in the end I messed up royally! Oops! Really very sorry!

Please know that I had the best of intentions, though. Hope Town wins this. Godspeed!

Sorry, but I think moving the game along is more important, so I changed my vote to you simply so we could lynch someone today. I think you would have been brought up again later if not now anyway.

I wasn't really confident with either of these lynches tbh. Me and Waffles were basically chatting in Steam and we both agreed that No Lynch would be the best option.

Oops ninjaed by your post. I agree with you about Sataric and I don't think the ego thing is worth starting a lynch for him, and it was kind of ridiculous which is why I agreed with Justin and went with Cory. But I think he could be seen as a distraction for some others later in the game and they will probably keep bringing his name up, so I think it's much better to lynch him now then no one at all.

It's simple. You're all voting Sataric because of his "ego" but what are you basing that from? It's his second game and he's never been scum, how do you all know that his current behavior is scummy? If Sataric flips scum, my bad - but I'm going to be looking at those who jumped right onto voting for him. I will agree though that his posts are mostly useless and extremely tedious to read through, but I don't think that alone is worth a Day 1 lynch.

And about Cory, he's the one who started the case against Sataric which seems different from his usual scum behavior. When Cory is scum he lurks around in the shadows and does nothing except little posts here and there.

I really do hope that we get a lynch today though, as each NL slows us down from hitting scum.

Question for ITookYourWaffles and Farobi: Why vote No Lynch? You're both experienced and you should know that generally on Day 1 we have to lynch someone in order to narrow it down & gather evidence.
