Our next Pokémon Tournament will be opening for sign-ups in the next couple of days. :)
This will now go up this coming weekend.

If anyone has a preference for a tournament type (eg monotype, doubles) this is a good time to state it. Or if you'd prefer we stick to the previous round robin format please state that too. :)

As a sneak preview: our participation prize for this upcoming tournament will be the

I'd love to see a doubles format! 🥳 I'm not an expert in any way but I think trying doubles over singles would be interesting :)

I'm undecided on whether or not I'll sign up this time around, but if we end up going with doubles format, I suggest we go by the standard VGC Doubles ruleset. Matches will naturally end up going by faster with 4v4 games, which means that we won't have to worry about constantly setting up custom tourneys with more time (which had its own problems). The "No legends/Paradox mon" ruleset that we typically use on TBT would still work (in fact, that's Regulation H VGC).

As for round robin or not, I like the round robin format, but I understand it may not be everybody's cup of tea and result in a lot of matches if many people sign up. But I generally prefer more battle opportunities than less.
