I'm sorry if it really is just a greeting and nothing more. but it's literally all I got right now. and nobody else seems to have any suspicions of anyone else. if anyone does please do share.




okay try and put all numbers aside. just read his TL;DR. "TL;DR: No lynching means we need to get 2 out of 3 lynches, while lynching means we only need to get 2 out of 4 lynches correct, meaning town should lynch on day 1."
Basically, if we no lynch we are wasting an entire day, we are throwing out the probability of lynching scum. Okay yes, the chances are low but it's better to risk those chances. I really can't explain it better, it makes sense in my head but when I try to explain I just feel like I'm repeating the same thing over and over.

so then, who's our best best for the lynch, in your opinion? lynn? qwerty?

yeah if we never lynch someone were obvi gonna lose, but I'm saying NL because I genuinely think its the right thing to do.... yes theres a "Chance" were gonna kill mafia but its such a small chance and if we kill one of our own now (which is the most likely outcome based on how our conversations have been going) and then the mafia kills one of us we have worse odds tomorrow than if we didn't lynch THATS A FACT, but were all thinking of killing Lynn, which I don't believe is mafia actually.... but someone is all for killing Lynn right now... someone wants to try to make us kill someone already.... I am open to hearing opposition to this without getting upset, or moody in this, but like just try to understand it from the other side from a second as I am clearly trying to understand logic of killing a random

ummm I'm still not understanding why no lynch gives mafia control? if we mislynch guys its gonna lower our numbers, bottom line! I will re-read over the thing Rune Raider wrote, but still like.... wtf, I don't see how keeping the numbers we have gives power to the mafia (however I do see them getting more influence by us killing someone and us being wrong)

OK, it's looks like some people don't understand maths. I'm gonna try and explain this one last time. If we lynch day 1 rather than no lynching, we have a greater chance of winning because we have one more lynch we can use to get scum. Losing a town player isn't all bad either, because we can look at who pushed the lynch and who defended the dead town. Kinda of like what I'm gonna do after you guys kill lynn and she flips town.

If we lynch day 1 rather than no lynching, we have a greater chance of winning because we have one more lynch we can use to get scum. Losing a town player isn't all bad either, because we can look at who pushed the lynch and who defended the dead town. Kinda of like what I'm gonna do after you guys kill lynn and she flips town.

I really do understand the whole "success rate of lynches mentality" but maybe its my newness to this game that still doesn't make that seem right... like yeah we can take that extra chance, but why would you? you can go spend 5 dollars on a lottery ticket to win millions.... but odds are you are just gonna be out that 5 dollars.... if we as a whole think that Lynching someone right now is the best plan, then YES lets stop talking about this and switch to picking someone to lynch

and honestly if I was mafia and saying all this it would make me the biggest freaking target ever, so do you really think I would be going out of my way this much to put my neck on the line if I didn't actually believe that NL is the better option?

don't be rude and say I don't understand math, I clearly do, but I don't understand the REASONING for picking someone out of the dark.... its like comparing the here and now vs looking down the road....

True. I personally think a mafia would jump at the chance to lynch a townie, so maybe lynn and toad are teammates, and toad is trying to push the pressure off her by suggesting a no lynch? That's food for thought. Not even I'm forcing a nl that much.

I just don't foresee the advantage of random lynching vs more informed lynching, we clearly want to go along with the whole lynching first day thing, so I'm game with it since you all have more experience than I do... I will just watch this to see how it all plays out. Note I'm not doing all this to sway us one way because thats clearly not working, but rather play devil's advocate just in case others saw NL as good option too

I was literally playing devil's advocate because I wanted to help.... but if we are all set on deciding to lynch someone and we think its the best plan, I'm all for going forward with it! and taking what we already have and trying to pick someone....

I just made myself a very big target though, so let's try to see who just wanted to get rid of this confused townie pretty quickly, because they know if they could find an easy scapegoat then mafia would be in the clear for one night
