if it makes you feel better, i originally had rosalina, female splatoon characters and even pauline as my initial mirror guesses, but none of them looked right enough, so i kept messing with the mirror. it was only after erasing my first redraw of the lines and rotating it that i finally noticed the eyes, did another redraw and was like... huh, this kind of looks like golbat? if you drew it blind with your left hand. then i googled "golbat sprites" and laughed my soul out of my body.

I somehow managed to figure out the mirror when I traced it literally three times; I noticed it kinda looked like a weird froggy chair.. THEN i realized, wait a minute, is that a golbat??? Then a google search confirmed my suspicions

i'm a bit devastated over egg 20 though. I submitted "WESTERNUNORTHODOX", "WESTERNORTHODOX" and "WESTERN", thinking it was a more formal thing, though I was tempted to submit "weaster"

also, reading the clue breakdown for #5, i lowkey lucked out on finding that answer. i know nothing about pikmin, so the fruit and pnf stuff went over my head. i literally just googled "2013 nintendo games", saw pikmin on the list and put it down lmao because i know the little guys have astronaut helmets thanks to a mirror during a previous event, and that they had (or are getting) a new game this year.

Nah I gotta take a break from crying so I can publicly air out my shame and regret:

4- I wasted all my guesses on the bird banner (Mick, birds) and the celeste chick plushes because "why would inanimate objects like potions have friends???" AGHGHDFGHDFGHDFGHDFGH
12- I submitted 16.3 as one of my guesses but didn't add the 3 at the front and thought rounding to one decimal was how it fit 3 digits ASDFJKLJKL;SDJKL;DFS I would have rather have been way off
16- TANGY. RUINED. EVERYTHING.
29- Magikarp was one of my guesses and they're from the same gen, so I sort of got close... right? RIGHT?

But woooo I got two first eggs- in the same batch to boot!
