TBT’s Fourth Egg Decorating Contest

I tried to make.......... a Shrunk egg!
But. I have a question.
If the egg is cracked, does this entry not count?

The story:
At first, I really wanted to make a Resetti egg , and I was watercoloring with my sibling! (snoopcar)
It's my first time coloring eggs and didn't realize how ... hard........ watercoloring an egg is. I made a weird poop colored egg and was about to start over but then realized I didn't have any more eggs.
So I washed it off, then was drying it, in the process with my gorilla grip strength, I cracked the bottom of my egg.
Then when using my Posca markers, I poked a big old hole in my egg.
Because I have no eggs... I just... went with it......

I just realized the deadline is sunday. Maybe I can get some 3 extra Egg Currency after all. Only problem is, I don't really know what to make. I'll think of something before the day ends.

Edit: I just sparked an idea! Now I better hope nobody steals it and uses it for their entry.

Here's my egg :> As you can probably tell, I based it off the Stardust easter egg!!

Done with a plastic egg, paper, and acrylic paint (as well as gold paint you can see on the star)

A little scuffed pic, but for fun I painted some flowers with the paint leftover from the egg, partially as a pastime waiting for layers to dry, but also because I mixed way too much paint for some areas lolol

I tried something like that the first time with an uncooked fresh egg and watercolor, a pure nightmare! The color didn't want to stay on the egg, it was so hard.

As much as I enjoy Easter for the chocolate and the egg hunt my fave holiday has always been Christmas so I decided to combine them and took inspiration from one of the best Christmas collectibles using a styrofoam egg, paint and a bit of yellow card cut into a star - a poor imitation of Oblivias lovely Xmas egg

Ya basically I dyed the egg a light blue color. Then I painted the facial features on. I cut out painted his hair and cutted it out and glued it on along with the white whiskers. As an added bonus, I drew his dual scallop shells and colored it in with markers. I had him resting on my Oshawott doll cause I thought it'd look cute.

Here's my egg decorating entry:
Is this smallfry a fishy friend, or a fishy foe? Regardless of what you believe about this little salmonid, this smallfry actually meant no harm to you!

Materials for the egg decoration:

• Plastic egg
• Air dry clay
• Acrylic paint
• White glue

Materials for the additional props:

• Construction paper (for namecard)
• Plastic spoon
• Leftover air dry clay
• Cardboard
• Acrylic paint (especially the leftover extra ones)

And, now for the commentary:
I was inspired to decorate the egg as a smallfry because their body shape is almost like an egg and I do have some plastic spoons so I came up with the idea of decorating an egg as a smallfry. This took me a few days, but plenty of hours to make the entry. Plastic eggs are pretty hard to work around it especially when clay can fall off because of the fact that plastics are slippery (I painted the entire egg white before placing in the clay details, just so you know). so I use some clay to hold the eyes and the tail together.

As for the prop, I basically recycled the leftover paint used in decorating the egg. I made an egg stand out of leftover clay and placed a plastic spoon as a prop since smallfries tend to use the spoon as shown in Salmon Run modes.

The name card design just happened to come from the fact that the construction paper flown over and went on the green paint by accident and that became the ink stains on the name card, The Name and the Grizzco logo on the name card were drawn with calligraphy pen. And that's it for the commentary.
