Good morning, got caught up on my watering . Wishing you all good luck today. Hopefully I can get another hybrid and a weed today.

Tfw this is only a week-long event yet I still indulged in drawing even-related art for no reason. I thought it would be appropriate and fitting to share these here since these were all just inspired from the event + lead up to it haha.

At first I was like.. what if!! Snow bunny... but with sakura petals as ears! Then my friends said it reminded them of mochi or dango so I now call them Sakura Mochi Bunnies.

I originally drew a bigger one (the first pink one shown below) as a pfp for myself to rock throughout Sakura Week, but with the event now live I decided to make some colour variants of the Sakura Mochi Bunnies based off of the new Sakura colours we got. :> These little blobs are so silly.

Well, them being sceneries make sense. Weeds usually aren't a centerpiece. They are just there in the background!

I found a few weeds this morning. I'm cool with this because I scraped in a few bells.

I'm glad to see some hybrids starting to grow around the forum!

I wanted to share this with u guys since it has to do with flowers. My mom took this first picture a really long time ago of my boys in the bluebonnets when we were visiting her mom, my grandmother in the hospital. There was a whole field of them right outside the hospital. Yesterday, we went in for my grandfather’s funeral. (Sorry, I know that’s a downer, but now he’s with my dad and Aunt and out of pain!) and on our way home I asked my boys if we could re-create that picture and they obliged me because they’re awesome. And yes, I have permission from both of them to post this and I hope that it’s OK, but I wanted to share it!!!

All caught up on watering! And seeing all the great pics I wanted to post a pic of one of my favorite flowers - iris! These things grow without much care. I’ve dropped some while transplanting a group and the dropped ones just grow where they land.

I extremely regret selling my lone weed after learning you could just hide it. Oh, well...here's to hoping for more hybrids and weeds!
