Well, egg 5's new location is exactly where I thought it would be originally, so that's good at least

the new location is the second place i planned to look had i not found it the first way, i'm kind of surprised it wasn't there to begin with tbh so i think this is a totally fair change/addition.

Unrelated but what happened to the sites blog? Where users posted massive stories etc? I thought some of these clues might have related to stories being written but I can't find the said blog

We decided not to continue it when we moved from vBulletin to XenForo software in 2020, but there's an archive of the posts here. Some members were using it to blog about their Animal Crossing towns (now islands), so we added Island Journals as a partial replacement.

To add on to this, I was thinking that the "uncommon years" line refers to leap years (like a prize from a leap year)? Can anyone confirm this?

yeah I still can't find it lol I feel kinda stupid
