I literally said I made my decision based on my first impressions when joining the game, which was you begging to be ISO'd and then explained what it could mean.

I've barely started reading up so I'd unfortunately have to trust others judgement, though only those who I trust myself.

I did find that Punchy begging to be ISO'd could tip him to be either scum or town evenly. On one hand, he could be begging because he wants to show that he is town. You don't get people begging to be read everyday do you?. On the otherhand, this sort of activity could be seen as tactical to try and throw people off in an attempt to change their opinion of Punchy, and hopefully clear his name.

So it could go either way.
