I personally prefer the Deathly Hallows, both in movie and book form. Plus, if you watch both the movies back-to-back, ou'll no longer have that extra 6 hours of time that you don't know what to do with.

The one book that I can re-read over and over again continously is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It sets up the readers to the wizarding world of Harry Potter and I could relate to the struggles that Harry Potter was going through as a neglected child. Furthermore, there are the moments of entering into an educational institution for the first time (Hogwarts), being sorted into different houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw & Slytherin) reminded me of being sorted into sports house (red, yellow, blue & green), the sense of kinship amount the first years made the book even more endearing, etc. Harry Potter is a children book and the first one related to the young audience the most, as the series progresses, the target audience changed to teenagers and young adults.

My second favourite book is either Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Sirius is reunited with Harry or Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the triwizard tournament was a feast)

Prisoner of Azkaban and/or Goblet of Fire, definitely the strongest entries.

Haven't read the cursed child so I'll leave it out but yeah 3 and 4 were def the best.

I think Goblet of Fire was the best book and Prisoner of Azkaban was the best movie. My least favorite book is Order of the Phoenix. It could have used a bit of trimming.

I'm voting for Sorcerer's Stone, but actually my favorite is Half-Blood Prince, which is not on the list (Dumbledore's death!).

I more viewed it as one long story that takes place over 7 years, but prisoner of azkaban is probably my favorite. I was in middle school when that one came out, and the plot twists in that book had me at the edge of my seat.

edit: and where is the halfblood prince on that list?

it's a tie between prisoner of azkaban and goblet of fire. i've reread the series at least a hundred times and those are always the ones i tend to enjoy most.

also the cursed child doesn't exist btw just saying for those who may have been wondering

It's either Sorcerer's Stone or Prisoner of Azkaban for me. Sorcerer's Stone was a fun adventure and sets up the world.

Azkaban though started getting more into the darker sides of Harry Potter. It also introduced Lupin and Sirius Black, who are some of my favorite characters in the franchise.

When I was a kid, chamber of secrets was definitely my favorite. And while it’s still probably number 2 the goblet of fire really strikes a chord with me now. I think we’ve all dreamed about how we would do in the triwizard tournament and being the champion

Probably an unpopular opinion but my favorites are Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince. Prisoner of Azkaban is for sure my favorite movie though!

Prisoner of Azkaban was probably my favorite. I thought the first three books just kept getting better and better, but it peaked at book three for me. After that, I thought the story started to decline.

I CLICKED CHAMBER OF SECRETS INSTEAD OF PRISONER OF AZKABAN PLS IGNORE MY VOTE

I picked the Goblet of Fire. That’s where the series was at its best imo. Not sure how people can pick Order of the Phoenix. I had absolutely no idea what was happening in that book, and the movie didn’t help, lol. To each their own though.

The Goblet of Fire was my favourite! I think I liked it best because it introduced us to new parts of the wizarding world and brought in a different element to the stories we hadn't seen before. The previous books were mostly about Harry at school, Harry and his friends getting in trouble with Voldemort, and then saving the day. Goblet of Fire is when everything takes a turn for the darker. While the basic premise of Harry facing Voldemort is still there, it seems like the stakes are higher. Plus, there are new settings, situations, and characters to consider with the introduction of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons!

My least favourite is probably the Order of the Phoenix. Can't really articulate why, I just remember liking it the least when I was reading the books.

100% The Goblet of Fire, just always stands out to me as being the one I was sucked into the most. I barely put it down the first time I read it

My personal favorite was the Prisoner of Azkaban! I liked the drama in it, what can I say! I especially love when Harry gets the Nimbus 2000 in the great hall, that was just hilarious. The whole Crookshanks-Scabbers thing was a little weird, but it made more sense at the end. I think I like it because it introduces a character that isn’t what they seem at all, despite all the hate and false rumors that the wizard media spread around.

My least favorite book was the Order of the Phoenix. Harry was (and I’m sorry, I’m gonna be really brutally honest with you all, I’m sorry if you don’t agree!) being a bit of a whiney baby throughout the book. Also the whole hatred of Umbridge was way to much for me.
