I hope I entered the Harvey's Slumber Party contest properly as I spent way too long trying to make it look good (and still failed lol) as I had to first post it in the thread and then submit privately which I DID do at literally one minute till and AT the end deadline...*crosses fingers* I sit here wondering if my clock is exact or if there's like a minute difference..aaaa ;w;

I don’t think the contests end until tomorrow at 11:59 pm Fair Time. So... not sure what you mean by deadline xD

Whoops! I thought the deadline was by midnight fair time tonight. My bad. This time difference messes with me too much for some weird reason lol. Ah well, either way I managed to finally get something that wasn't totally horrible entered, as I am really not used to using the photopia thing. Hooray for participation points lol. Okay so I need to bother someone again because I'm stomped with this system like...
I know that there's a certain file and image size limit with the native uploader on this forum, so when submitting a contest entry, I went and uploaded it to another site in its full res just so it can be at its highest quality possible.
But when I posted it here, it just... completely compressed the thing so badly, it looks even worse than if I had just downsized it to fit the forum limit. I also can't click on it like I can with natively uploaded images to make it bigger, it looks horrible now and all detail is lost :-(. I'm near-sighted and the image is so small now I can't even SEE the whole thing properly LOL.
But I wanted to ask if that's just how it normally is, or was the limit lifted for the entries in the first place and I shoulda just uploaded it normally? I'm not even gonna ask to reupload it because I know I'm not allowed to, but this probably is going to cost me the little chance I had at getting the staff nom because it looks horrendous and I'm honestly mad about it... why does it look like that.

EDIT because I just looked at my entry for that fireworks thing and I did indeed just upload it directly to the site with no problems and it looked crisp so that was just absolutely stupid of me and I am regretting everything. Don't submit things when you're tired

The fair shop will remain open for a few days after final contest/event prizes have been awarded and the fair's closing. There will likely be an announcement for the exact day/time the fair shop closes so you have time to finalize your purchases.

Once they've been distributed they're 'technically' attached to your account, but would recommend refreshing anyway.

Contests will have an internal staff vote. These will then be going to a community vote taking place later this week to determine winners.

This is more for the post-fair, but it is fair related so I hope it's okay to ask this here. But after the fair is done, will we be able to provide feedback/suggestions for future events/fairs? I'm really enjoying the fair, don't get me wrong, but I would love to have the option to provide some feedback and go more in depth about why, as there are some things I do think could be improved. I hope this isn't coming across as disrespectful in any way. The fairs and other events that I've participated in have been so fun, and some of my favourite times I've had on here! I'd just like to make suggestions that staff can take into consideration. I can't remember if this was an option from the past fair I attended back in 2017 so I thought it was best to ask. ^^'
