Thanks for the wishes! Yea tbh it was more hilarious than anything, and I was kind of in disbelief that I just happened to play with someone who voided Snake. I kind of want Beau back but I just can't dog Cole like that after he gave me the see ya later speech

and also agreed about audie actually! even her actions don't really suit the aesthetic - i think we discussed before about her always exercising and i recently found out it's because her "hobby" is fitness, whilst my ACTUAL jock's hobby is "play".. so i barely see him exercise?? LOL

Yea haha before Audie left almost every time I saw her she was working out, and my old jock also never worked out...like ever. Granted, it was Sprocket and I'm really not sure what the point of working out is when you can just upgrade your muscles. But honestly, if Audie didn't wear those 80s LSD glasses when she worked out I wouldn't even mind x_x

Not a lot has happened. I've been slowly working on finishing the residential area (i'm glad that i tore everything down and restarted - even if it cost me almost 1mil in moving fees). I took a video tour of it but don't have anything to upload it to so I can't share it here I have been meaning to get a Twitter account for Animal Crossing and art shenenigans, but I'm super indecisive on the username..
Also, I fixed the terraforming a bit near the campsite area! Only when I went to post did I realise that one of the photos is out of focus...this realism is getting out of hand.

Also, Snake, those glasses. Dear lord, why.

Actually, I take it back. A lot has happened: I've almost finished Robin's house and little horticulture shop. Dare I say he has a nicer house than resident rep Finch does now.

OHMYGOD the horticulture shop im actually in love i was so sad that in new horizons they made all the plant pot colours different rather than brown like it used to be (grrr) but you make the colour schemes match so well!!!! aaaa

and lmao same that brown/vintage filter actually goes blurry every time you aren't in it which annoys me so much when im trying to take cute pics of my villagers and not me ;;

Marcel visited Ashdew's campsite today. He's generally controversial for being an "ugly" villager but I don't mind him too much. His mime face and French catchphrase are pretty funny.

I went to the newly terraformed area that turned out blurry when I tried to take a photo of it last time, and I think that particular spot is just cursed. No matter how much I moved around or played with the camera it would stay out of focus...but the second I try to take a photo of something else it would be perfectly fine. So I'm sad that there's no photo of the waterfall, but at least I got a photo of the secret path beside it.

Also, I took some photos of the newly complete residential area! I had a feeling that finishing this area off pushed my town pretty close to 5-star status, so I dumped some random items outside and lo and behold, Ashdew is 5 stars now!

YAY congrats on 5 star rating <3 and also im literally frothing at your island terraforming skills.. the third pic (sorry not sure which villager!) actually looks stunning with the house surrounded by all these varying levels of cliffs and waterfalls!!! my brain can't even handle basic terraforming how do you do it (;*´Д`)ﾉ

Posting for the past couple of days today! I still have yet to figure out how to get the camera to refocus. I thought that it was stuck focusing on my island rep but even when I was directly in front of it it was still blurry I just wanted a nice photo with Ashdew's first lily of the valley.

I went to visit a friend's town last night and ended up being impaled through the neck by Jitters' beak. So I left them with a memoir.

​

Walked into Agnes' house and she had 2 beds :') I don't know why she would need 2 beds but I won't judge.

​

When K.K. visited on Saturday, he actually mentioned that it would be Robin's birthday on the 18th (today!). I was pretty surprised and when today rolled around I was so in awe at how adorable this game is. I've put all the birthday screenshots in the spoiler in case you didn't want to be spoiled!

News!! Deirdre moved out and Beau moved back in. Deidre actually really grew on me, she's super cute and her house is so nice, I reckon if you replaced her white eyeliner(?) and lips with the same colour brown as her hair she would shoot up in popularity LOL. Someone came to adopt her and I really hope she's found a forever home because she deserves it!!

Once Deidre was out I needed to get a lazy for my town so I went island hopping, and I came across some really strong candidates but unfortunately I had to leave them behind for one reason or another, including:
Punchy (too many cats!!), Genji (I already have a jock), Walker (super cute but his eyes are not my fav), Wade (cute but not a big fan of his interior), Sherb!!! !! ! !! (adorable and I love goats but he kinda has the same issue as Audie where all my villagers are pretty muted or "realistic" looking and this dude is literally a bright blue goat)

(I say "realistic" but realise that Tangy is a literal tangerine. I guess I mean they've all got natural colours going on.)

I ended up posting on a villager trade board looking for either Cole, Beau, or Erik and I told myself that I was going to take the first one of those three that I find, so lo and behold I found Beau!

Welcome Beau to the morning aerobics club!!

Bonus: gave my villagers some new accessories and now everyone in my town is servin looks.
Apparently I'm terrible at taking photos because this photo with Skye took ages to take.

Side note: It would be nice if we could adjust the opacity % of the filters. The soft one is so pretty but also very over the top lol

In hindsight I say that everyone's got natural colours but I just remembered that I have Skye and she literally has the same colour scheme as Sherb. I have no excuses anymore. Maybe I just wanted Cole or a deer more.

Not super exciting but I hit level 5 friendship with Tangy and Chief and got the inspired + mischievous reactions!!

So Robin (side character) hit a higher HHA score than Finch (main character). To celebrate here are some pics of his updated house, I would like to upload pics of all the rooms but I'm at the attachment limit for a post. Maybe once his bathroom is complete I'll upload a full tour.

Some more photos from the last week. I can't believe we're already halfway through 2020 and most of the world has spent that half in isolation.
Anyways winter is here and the grass is slowly turning white. Winter is my least favourite season both in AC and irl, but I'm telling myself that getting through it and continuing to develop my island is going to make it so much more satisfying on the first day of spring when the snow melts

I redid the area around resident services! Previously it just had a simple moat around it, so not much need for a 'before vs after' shot, just imagine before being a bare resident services. Pretty happy with how it turned out!
