I'm sure any Animal Crossing fanatic can relate to the joy of having an unwanted villager move out of town. YES, you spend every waking moment hoping, nay, wishing, that a certain villager will pack up and leave. For me, that villager is Pompom. So when she came up to me and said that she's moving, I was overjoyed... But only for awhile.
Here's a list of the top 2 problems with new villagers:
1) You don't know who's moving in. If you're fortunate enough to find a dreamie who's moving out of a friend's town at the same time as a villager is leaving yours, then God bless your soul. However, for us less fortunate Mayor's, new villagers can be a headache. You don't know who's moving in. What if it's a villager worse than the one that just left?! Here's my advice: find someone on TBTF with a moving villager in boxes.
2) You don't know where the villager is going to build their house. This is an inevitable problem. You'll never know the exact location of the new building. Trees can get torn down, flowers uprooted, and paths blocked. If the ACNL gods like you, you'll be lucky to have a villager move in to a less crowded area.
When Pompom left, Cherry moved in. Once again, I was less than thrilled. Of all the villagers, Cherry, really? She decided to build her house in the middle of a path... Of course... And so, the cycle of unwanted villagers begins again. What are your pet peeves about new villagers? Comment them below ^^
