During the events of the old school AC week many users had the ability to grow red turnips, however many of these turnips met an unfortunate demise. Whether it was from a freak shopping cart accident or a bootleg watering can, many users now mourn the loss of their turnip. But, as time went on the rotten vegetable has grown to become a wonderful display in our lineups with many users actually enjoying its look. There is a fairly good balance between the amount of living and rotten turnips currently, but soon these turnips may vanish, lost to the collectible void among collectibles such as the golden can and bean box. We can't let this happen! If you are as passionate about this rotten pixel vegetable as I am then you know what is to come if we don't act! RISE! Come forth and let the staff hear our cries! Long live the rotten turnip!

No support, Jeremy already said the rotten turnips would disappear and that's why people watered theirs. If they changed their mind now it would be unfair to people who successfully grew their red turnip, but would have preferred to keep their rotted turnip.
I'd support the rotten turnip being a permanent collectible in the future, but changing an event with laid out rules and features isn't fair at all.
No they should not be permeanent as they would be rarer than the red turips. This would be unfair to the users who acually watered their turnips, if the rotted turnup stayed around.

if they were able be kept, they would've let is know in the beginning so that we could decide if we wanted to kill ours or let it live. its dumb to keep them now
I'm kinda neutral on this one. I actually don't like the look of the rotten turnip and much prefer my turnip that I got right now. No offense to anyone. :/ Also, Justin already said they weren't going to keep them, so it probably won't change.
As others have said, I think the rotten turnip would be a cool collectible in the future, but the ones from this event shouldn't be allowed to be kept. Some people probably would have wanted a rotten turnip more and intentionally killed their turnip if they knew we would be allowed to keep them.
After reading all that I gotta say, I agree a bit. Though I do wish it would be added now, it would be a bit unfair to others. But for future events giving players a choice would be nice.
Ahh..hopefully they add it in the future then with the option to rearrange it
