The re-release of The Sims and The Sims 2 with all their expansion packs is a dream come true for many fans, especially those who have struggled to access these classic games on modern systems. While The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection was previously given away for free, The Sims 1 has been much harder to obtain, making this an exciting opportunity for those who missed out on the game that started it all.
I completely understand the mixed reactions regarding pricing. Since EA once gave away The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection for free, some players might have expected a similar approach this time around.
Personally, I think the ability to finally play The Sims with all its expansions is a huge win for me. There’s something special about the simplicity and charm of the original game; the quirky sound effects, the pixelated but endearing graphics, and the chaotic unpredictability.
I can’t wait to play it! Hopefully it works
