The Villager Giveaway Thread!

I guess the IRC thing would be better, as people would chat there and this topic would be used for... well, for what it was created, to announce a villager giveaway or things like that.

Yea..I've noticed that this is becoming like a chat room and the pages are going by way too fast and people might be missing chances of getting their villagers because the page got bumped back within a few short minutes D=

Who cares about the villagers we're giving away? Why bother to discuss why they're special to our villages?
In fact I have no interest in anyone else's village but my own so anyone who even bothers to discuss their own is just wasting their time.
And I take no pleasure in talking to other likeminded people about my goals, ideals or hobbies.

there's really no need to be rude. we're all here because we like animal crossing so I find nothing wrong with discussing villagers we like.

It would just be nice if all of the conversation was taken to a chatroom of some sorts. ^_^ That's all. This thread should be kept strictly for giveaway / claiming posts. I believe that is what bittermeat was focusing on and using those conversations as an example of what he/she meant.

Those of us that frequent this board and have established relationships with each other have talked about starting our own group to decrease the "chatter" for those that are bothered by it. We're still trying to think of a group name. Once we establish our group I am sure this thread will settle down quite a bit. Be prepared for less giveaways though, as those who chat may end up just giving away within the group.

i really dont see the harm in chatting a little about how a certain villager may be important to us? but i guess you guys have a point, it IS a bit hard to find villagers and what not here. maybe we could make a little chat or a group or something for all of us to chat in
