Are you guys time traveling two days forward, then two days backwards without checking on your villagers to get a move trigger? This is a very dangerous method because if one your villagers was selected for the move prompt before you do the leap, and you just do it without checking around, when you get back they'll be in boxes because it will have been five days.

-Always- check on you favorites either before you do the leap(or once you're two days in the future) to make sure they don't ping you. If they're not outside, reload. If someone else pings you before you see your favorites, go diving for 6-10 minutes. (I think there is a 5 minute wait period between pings, and 10 minute wait period between the same animal pinging you) From what I've tested, the animals are pretty aggressive about telling you.

Alternatively, if you're using the new alt trick, you can see if anyone is moving away/already gone when you load up. If so, DO NOT SAVE on the new alt. Instead, time travel back to the date you last played. The game will be unable to tell you did the leap as it didn't save, and instead treats it as the same day you loaded up previously. (Flowers will be sparkling, ect.) So, find the animal and stop the moving.

Also, never leap more than five days at a time, as the animal is selected will move out in five days. If they were chosen before the leap and you didn't know, they'll be in the void when you get back.

Ones that leave that friends pick up will not show up on main street I think? Next time my main town gets under 9, I can test it out if someone has Apollo, Scoot, Kitt, or Roald moving out. (I won't take them, but I can at least see if the move prompt pops up as I let others take them so they are not in the void) I'm not 100% positive though.

No--they show up even if they get picked up by someone so it's always 16.

I know ALL about this... I realy regret t... One of my dreamine (Kabuki) left me... I almost don't want him as a dream anymore... I feel betrayed. Is that weird?
