I've seen Marshal go for crowns which you can apparently sell at Retail for 300k a pop.... The question of them getting these crowns puzzles me though. Even though I haven't gotten a crown in my catalogue yet, I think they'd be paying a lot more for these crowns than for what they can be sold for so when they're offering over 25 of them... yeeeeeaaah.

Crowns are 1,000,000 a pop, not 300,000.

Wow.. that is way too much.. I realistically can't see anyone paying over a mil for a villager. And on Gamefaq's I feel like there's a much higher risk of being scammed compared to on here or something like AXA..

Like I can't even tell you how many people have said similar things, wow..

Depends on who you get! I've gotten a couple freebies on there before and I've lost out to a few REALLY popular ones who were just given away. But you're right, not everyone is just gifting them - I was just posting updates just in case, hahah.

Erm... Yes, I know. They sell at retail for 300k, but you buy them for over a million usually. XD That's what I said in the post. They're paying over a million just to get what is essentially a 300,000 bell bag.

Princello - I'm not sure how. It was actually the person wanting for Marshal who offered the person crowns. I could see the duping if it were the other way.

Ah, well that's the unfortunate side effect of playing with people who TT through the stalk market or whatever they do to make like 250 mil at a time, lol. I don't like it much either but that's admittedly because I play the game at a very lazy pace so I can't complain much. I really only make ~1 mil at a time (like when I sell turnips or go bug hunting).
