Nono it just stopped working. D: It was really weird the way it happend. I decided to go to the international island for the first time. So it loaded up and I did a few tours with someone and then that annoying resetti symbol popped up to tell me that we lost connection somehow. I got angry so I just closed the 3DS and decided I’d play again later when my internet isn’t being screwy. So I come back & I open my 3DS and I don’t know if I closed it while it was saving and I shouldn’t have done that or what the heck happened but I got this message pop up to say that my data was corrupted and gave me an option to delete the data. *cut a little*

That's insane. I'm so sorry Rena D: if Nintendo can't do anything to fix it, I'd be happy to help you start your new town. :3

I panicked, shut the game off and back on again and this time Julian was there in my town layout so I went to load my save file, and as soon as Isabelle started loading the town everything went black and now the game cartridge is just entirely dead, won't work in either of my 3DS's ;___;

Sounds like you interrupted it during a save. Your game is lost. :[

If the data corrupts there's nothing that can be done to get your town back unless you have backed it up (only possible with digital copy). I've lost a few towns to data corruption. This is the first I've heard of the cartridge not working at all afterwards which is very odd.
I hope Nintendo can do something to help you, otherwise you'll have to buy a new copy of the game. I'm very sorry you lost your town. :c

That is just FREAKY. O_O It doesn't even make sense! All you did was reset the system and... then it wouldn't even let you start a new game! Scary stuff... it's seriously like a ghost story. >.<

If the data corrupts there's nothing that can be done to get your town back unless you have backed it up (only possible with digital copy).

This is not true. There's 3rd party hardware that allows you to back up cartridge data.

That's so scary! It's happened to quite a few people who closed during saving. When they say don't touch the power, they mean it D': I'm so sorry!

I'm so sorry! Even though I had never been to your town, it was my favorite. Not Kitties & the Amazing Julian What do you have in your current town as far as villagers & openings? I'll be on the lookout for you.

Well, the worst possible thing ever happened today. ;n; My game cartridge broke. I don't know what happened but either way the game is just completely dead. ;n; So I'm starting over on the cartridge that was my giveaway town - it now will be my main town. ;__; Unfourtunately this means I can't gift out villagers as quick as I used to, and I lost the villagers I had reserved for people. ;n; I'm really sorry! I contacted Nintendo support by email and explained what happend, maybe it can be fixed somehow, I don't know.

Either way I'm looking for cats, and above all, Julian, once again. ;n;

I had Pippy move a couple of weeks ago--nobody cared. She's one of the poor villagers that nobody likes for some reason. I liked her--just not enough to have her stay. Poor, poor, Pippy; gets no love.

It's very possible. I had given someone a villager they wanted the other day. In order to pick up the villager I had moving, they had to TT in order to get someone to move. They managed to get Sterling to move. Though I had never been to her village, or spoken to Sterling, the next game day a plot appeared for Sterling. I managed to get Sterling even though I never had been to her village or spoken to the villager--much less invited him to my town. He turned out to be pretty cool--though I TT'd and he was gone within the hour so I could make room for Frita (yeah Frita! I love her).

Another time I had been to a village that had Antonio moving. He asked to move to my village and I specifically did not invite him. He came anyway. I was a bit annoyed at first, but I've grown to like him.

You don't have to tell me. I got your Frita and I couldn't be more pleased. I love the food-based villagers, so how could I resist a french fry villager? I think she's great! I have no intention of letting her leave.
