Guys, just a heads up that I will be restarting soon. I'm going to TT tonight, possibly tomorrow and maybe even the next day, trying to get my current villagers to move. I will notify you all here when one has pinged me with a move. If you're interested, the villagers are: Timbra, Marcel, Monty, Anabelle, Annalisa, Deirdre, Ricky, Tom, Kidd, Rodney.

Keep your eyes peeled. I believe Gizmodo has already asked me for Timbra.

I want to help make some dreams come true before I restart ♥

edit: but i can't promise anything. it's taking a very long time for any of my villagers to ping. Monty moved out already and didn't even friggin ping. sorry if this doesn't work out, guys. we'll see..

I would love to take Deirdre. I am waiting for 'Moe' (who just moved in) or 'Chief' to move out as I currently have 9 villagers (and I am assuming that the 10th one can only come from the campsite).

Nah, the 10th can come from the campsite, convincing them from someone else's town, or streetpass to my knowledge.

Oh, that's cool! I wonder if I can get Deirdre to move into my town, even though she just moved. Does the system/game know that it's the same character (code) and prevent this from happening? Or is it random? My actual villager is gone, this would be a 'new' Deirdre (if that makes sense).

This thread makes me suffer from sleep deprivation. I'm not even wanting anymore villagers...and it's 3am...I have problems. D: it's just so exciting watching people get their dreamies!

Unfortunately I'm not sure of the specifics of that. When my friend couldn't get her Francine to move in it was the same Francine she'd given me, so that might have something to do with it. People were saying that another user disproved the whole needing to cycle through 16 villagers though, so you could try?

No, what they meant is that the theory you don't have to cycle through 16 villagers if it's the exact same villager was disproven
Whether it's the exact same villager, or a completely different one is, apparently, irrelevant, and you have to go through 16 villagers before getting them back~
