The Villager Giveaway Thread!

I wish there was a better way to giveaway villagers. But if I reserve them, there's always a chance of the person not being online when they move out, and I like getting the villagers out fast so I can cycle more, for more people. ): So I just do the first come first serve. Not quite sure how else to do it.

I feel the same way, honestly. I'm willing to hold onto a villager for a couple hours to see if anyone comes online but I'd like to get more than 1 animal out in a session, you know? I'm waiting for the new sub-forum to open up in hopes that animals I put up won't go unnoticed! But I might have to end up doing the reserve thing. x.x

Yeah I feel the same way. I have so many pretty good animals in my town, but they are super duper popular so when I post, there might not be anybody online at that moment who wants them. I've had to wait a few times already (mostly for friends, got a friend Tom for her birthday and had to wait for her to get someone else out) and it's a bummer having to wait for someone. Right now I'm actually waiting for someone to pick up an animal.

Yeah that sucks too. Cause you don't want to tell them no, but I've waited hours for someone to TT someone out before, and I don't really want to wait either. But I'm not going to just TT out someones dream animal because they are taking too long.

Or when they keep pestering you about it when you have a bunch of trades pending and that particular villager is being stubborn. Then, when they're finally ready, nope, person is nowhere to be seen. Dealing with that right now, it's kind of infuriating, especially since if I had known they were going to be difficult, I would have kept said villager in question for trade for someone else.

Yes, I know that. I'm sitting at 9 right now with another villager moving today, so I need to have someone ready to move in so that I can keep from having 8 villagers and thus having someone weasel in.

Honestly, first come first serve is generally the best way to do it(at least, in my opinion; but I do reserve occasionally)

Before I post for a villager moving out I usually go onto the spreadsheet on the first page and see if anyone who has said they want that villager is online, or check to see if they are in anyone onlines signatures on here in the last 3/4 pages. If there's no one online then I'll post and go first come first serve.
