The villagers based on characters from other Nintendo games gonna come back in NH?

If you remember, im New Leaf, some special villagers like W.Link, Ganon, Inkwell, Cece and Vichém only can be summon scanning the amiibos from other Nintendo game series. Do you believe this characters gonna come back in New Horizonts? Nintendo gonna add new villagers based in other Nintendo games o third parties characters?

i think it’s been confirmed that those villagers plus the sanrio villagers won’t be available in new horizons - that might change in a future update, maybe, but they weren’t included in the game for launch
