I would love if there was cooking, even if we couldn't actually consume the items. Just making the existing food items (and hopefully more) that are for decoration would be really cool. I love games that let you cook, I haven't stopped making curry in Pokemon Shield, and gathering ingredients for cooking in BOTW was one of my favorite activities.

Part of me really hopes that cooking becomes a feature in this game. Like imagine you could cook stuff for your villagers and that helps you rising your friendship between you and them. Or baking birthday cakes that you can send both to a villager or another player when they have birthday. I would probably spend all the time just cooking random stuff to find new recipes, just like how I did it in Breath of the Wild.

I'd like to cook in the game as food is one of my favorite items.

I reckon that stove is just for aesthetics to make a more realistic looking camp.

Hopefully though, we can cook, but I don't think they'll make that a feature just yet.

I?m thinking it?s just a furniture item that?s in theme with the whole deserted island/outdoor vibe. It would be cool if we could interact with it though. Maybe clicking on it could start the fire underneath and steam could start escaping from the lid.

I understand that lol. I've been throwing my bells away by eating my town's fruit for years. What I mean is the stew. We make the stew after collecting the ingredients and eat with the villager. I haven't watched all the trailers for NH, so I wasn't sure if it's hinted that we make the stew for our player only.
