What kind of things and features needs in your opinion a improvement in the upcoming
game?

What definitely needs a improvement in my opinion is the swimming. Being able to swim
in New Leaf was a big new thing, which makes also fun, but there are some things that
should be changed. For an example: The speed. Sometimes I feel like I swim way to slow
to even catch any sea creatures. They swim sometimes so fast away, before I reach
their spot they are already gone. Being able to swim faster would be really nice and
also helpful.

What also needs a improvement is the customization of your house. If they would add all
the features from Happy Home Designer... That would be awesome.

I agree, the swimming feature needs some improvement. I eventually learn how to catch those fast critters, but my mom has so much difficulty with them. I have to end up helping her catch the darn things, so yeah, faster swimming would help. I also loved the features they did in Happy Home Designer, so if they could implement those it would make the game more interesting. One thing I would love to see improved is the dialogue. It just felt so repetitive and eventually got boring fast.

I totally agree with the improved dialogue, I really want them to add in more so it doesn’t repeat so often. It would also be nice to have exact villager specific dialogue that really makes each one unique just like a few lines each of them have that is specific to only them.

I also would love for them to implement more designs for clothing like they have in pocket camp where there is different styles of dresses. It would add a lot more variety and be a lot more fun making different custom designs if there was more to work with than the same exact dress just with short or long sleeves. I’m really hoping the kimono style dress makes it into the switch game since it’s such a pretty fit.

I really like this idea. It would definitely take a lot of work, but it doesn't seem unfeasible, and it would make every villager seem much more unique and interesting.

I very much agree with the swimming, doing that badge was something else haha.
The main one that come to mind is Happy Home designer type placement for villager furniture, villager houses, paths, and public works projects.

they need to readd villagers being able to get sick it was stupid that they removed that in the newleaf welcome amiibo update

They still get sick, just not as often as they used to...

Graphics. We need a real 3D environment (? la Zelda Wind Waker or Breath of the Wild). This is no Harvest Moon game. Nintendo really needs to ramp up the money invested in the production of Animal Crossing.

Swimming, it feels clunky and the controls are delayed when you dive; making it really hard to catch any sort of creatures. I'd say what needs the most improvement would be villager conversations. They all feel really copy + pasted and most of the time I find myself just straight up spamming B to skip through conversations with my villagers. I'd really like to truly feel like I've built a relationship with my villagers. I think they'll most definitely add the features from HHD , and I hope that they'll allow us to start decorating the outside of our houses, and choose where our villagers will move in.

You had sick villagers even after the Welcome amiibo update? Because I never had a single
villager that became sick after the update and I played like everyday. I also heard that they
removed it completely so I'm just wondering about it...

Yeah, its only happened a few times since then, but its definitely still there, it makes me wonder if it was a error in the update that it doesn't trigger as often (and even before the update, i only had a handful -5- get sick on me.)

Cut the following-

-Tripping
-Random conversation pings
-Villager can not change their catchphrase or greeting more than once a month
-Villagers vhanging their mind about moving
-Not being able to do PWPs on event days
-Museum Shop (Many alternatives for the features in this trash addition to New Leaf.)
-Dead spots in towns.

MORE TO BE ADDED.

I really want there to be a way to control who comes into your town more sufficiently. Example, someone requests to enter your town and you have 2-5 minutes to accept or decline. If you accept, the player will be prompted to confirm their visitation and once they do they will be able to visit immediately. If you decline, or don’t respond in time, the player that requested the visit will be told the request failed.
I’ve had too many randoms I had forgotten to delete from past trades just show up in my town unannounced when I’m in the middle of something, so giving the option to decline a visit before they arrive would be perfect for me.
If you’re the type of person who doesn’t mind random visits, you could turn this feature off and everyone will automatically be sent to your town upon request. You could also just switch your best friends to automatically accepted as well!

I agree with the idea, but I think a better way of doing it would be setting different priority numbers on your friends list and when you open your gates you can choose with priority numbers are allowed to enter. But being able to reject somebody trying to enter your town is still something AC needs regardless of implementation.

-Grass Deterioration. Get rid of it or make it so it can only be caused with a special item or special shoes or something. This 'feature' seriously drives my OCD and Anxiety up the wall. I want to chase bugs, wander, and run around the town at my leisure without having to worry about planting 2 million flowers to make up for the fact I stepped on a tile of ground one too many times.

-MOAR. STORAGE. SPACE. Or seriously just make an entirely separate and large storage specifically for clothes (Like put a closet in each house for clothes and shoes and what not). I like keeping shirts, dresses, skirts, shoes, hats, and other accessories that I really like and swapping them when I feel like it. But I also like keeping certain pieces of furniture to decorate rooms. I also like keeping at least 3 to 5 of every fruit, and storing the tools I'm not currently using but want to keep a hold of (like the watering can, umbrellas, axes and the megaphone) for when I need it. What this translates to is no more storage space after a month of playing or forcing me to sell items I would really rather keep.

-I agree with swimming feeling really slow or clunky at the very least. You've no idea how many times I've been basically right on top of the faster sea critters only to see the dang things shoot under the barrier floats at the edge of town because I was a millimeter too far behind before they got there. Another cool thing could be seeing a bigger shadow and finding random treasure, or bringing back bottle messages for people who just have the switch connected online but can't pay to interact with others over the internet. It'd be nice to get a little message with a gift or something.

-Give us a way to get little handheld items outside of interacting in a Happy Home showcase type thing. I've literally never seen any of the new things in New Leaf because I live in the back roads of central Indiana and never even got a streetpass from my brother LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSE AS ME. Maybe those of us who don't get to pass people everywhere would like a bubble wand or some Ice Cream, Nintendo. Especially since now we'd have to add on a fee to even interact online now. Maybe put Phineas in a little stand like he was in City Folk, but during the day in the main street of town. He can still hand out those badges I hate so much to players who actually liked them, but at the same time he could sell little treats like that to other players.

-When it comes to crossbreeding flowers, maybe let us buy something to sprinkle on the flowers we specifically want to cross. I never enjoy stepping out of my house to check on my roses and lilies only to find that I have one more red pansy than yesterday because the game decided to cross the mass of pansies I have to help the grass grow back need MOAR PANSIES. (Also give us more colors for all the flowers... and bring back the Blue Cosmos from Population Growing that was one of my favorites.)

-Please let us have a shop that's open 24/7 to sell stuff to at night for players who want to stay up and play. It sucks that a good chunk of a day is completely pointless to play in because if you fill your storage/house floor/inventory with fish and insects too quickly you're basically done for the day because you can't do anything else.

-The Campground was a great idea. However it'd be nice if along with special character campers there's also 2 regular villagers and maybe even rarely one of the amiibo villagers for those of us who don't have amiibo. Honestly Amiibo Cards and Figures would be great if they simply allowed for easier access to rare content/villagers in general instead of just completely being something locked out for people who can't get them for monetary reasons or for the fact they simply can't find them.

-Speaking of villagers. Have a visitor in the tent in town you really want to move in? Have a full town? Too bad! Except... what if you could still ask that visitor to move in and their entry will be held until there's a vacant plot of land in town? Maybe have one or two slots and you can go to Town Hall and check the list to see who's waiting to move in.

The dreamworld, it's really boring. Everything you do, you do it for nothing! Give us assignments or missions in the dreamworld so we don't be there for no reason.

I agree on the graphics thing, but I trust that it'll work out.

I've only ever played New Leaf, so when I saw footage of City Folk it already felt like a massive improvement. Everything is just a bit higher quality, the terrain is dynamic and varied in height and the camera seems to be panned back *just* that little bit more to make everything look bigger. In the Switch version I'd like even more space, but that's just me.

Amiibo Festival looks the part in my opinion on that front. Gameplay aside, the gorgeous lighting fits well with the art style and every model is high-quality. Same can be said for the Mario kart 8 track, which is beautiful as well.

I like the rolling log effect, but I don't like that certain objects, like houses and trees, are set to move down faster when going over the horizon: if you walk towards the screen away from a house, you'll find that once the house is at its highest point, it'll start plummeting downwards. That makes some inconsistencies with the perspective and everything, which I find kind of jarring.

Also, on the 3ds when you use the keyboard to type, the sound bytes are really short. I thought that was the norm, but again: videos of City Folk proved me wrong. I can actually make out what is being spelled there just by listening!

How about this?

Whenever you are offered or about to buy an item, a sign on your screen pops up that tells you if it is in your catalog or not.

I think more villager personality types would be really nice, because with only 8 personality types if you have more than one villager of a certain personality, they will just repeat the same stuff the other one when talking with them and getting letters from them. Another thing they could do instead is just add more dialogue for each personality.

Not sure if this has been said or not, but Brewster needs to serve more than just coffee AND you can order from him more than just once a day.
