I’m holding on to hope! I’m having a hard time thinking that they would increase multiplayer to 8 and not have mini games of some sort.
There’s a boat on the back of the NH switch so maybe Kapp’n is gonna be sailing us to close islands for co-op features.

Oh I don't doubt that minigames are returning in some way, shape, or fashion. I just imagine that they're not doing random online meet ups like CT, since trolls like me would trap people.

Aside from trolling there, I really enjoyed the tropical aesthetic of it all. I especially loved the night theme.

Back to topic, there are no news about that this. However, I doubt that Tortimer is gone. The grave we saw could be the home of the ghost, which was shown in the video presentation. Have a bit of faith, friends. In about two weeks we all will see what will happen

Completely forgot about the grave. While that'd be a little morbid, having an online server being like purgatory essentially (if that's what the grave will be for), I'm really interested to see what they do with it and if it's the CT replacement.

I hope they’ll be returning. The tortimer island games were so much fun especially with friends. I also wonder if the mini games from the 3ds and Wii U furniture will return one way or another.
