Hmmm I wonder if the Japanese kids give them all really bad nicknames in Japanese and then trade them.... making us all look like idiots because many of them know some english and can tell if the name is a nick or not... but we may be ignorant americans in this... :lol: well probably not but it would be funny

Sadly, yours truly does not own either Poke`mon Diamond Version or Poke`mon Pearl Version. If the aforementioned character did own said games, the possibility of him carrying out said actions would be very high.

When Japanese Pokemon recieved in a trade evolve, their name turns English. If it is a nickname in Japanese, I think it stays the same. And I doubt people want to trade for Pokemon named after a website
