Transactions Question

Towards the top of the screen, there is a tab that says currency, and if I highlight over it, it shows me how much TBT I have. If I click it, it pulls up a list of my transactions using TBT (e.g. earning by posting, transferring TBT to others) and there are some that say I spent bells, when I didn't. Can anybody tell me why this is?

I'm just going to post Jake's explanation about recalculation as it explains things pretty well:

When you edit a post it recalculates the bells as if it were a new post.
Say you make a post and gain 5 bells. You then decide to edit your post. When you edit your post you will lose all the bells from the post, but once you hit "save" you'll gain the amount for your new post. So if you made your post shorter you'll get less bells, so you'll lose them, but if you made it longer you'll actually gain bells.

TL;DR - it's a recalculation. And you'll lose/gain bells depending on whether you shorten/lengthen your original post.

weird- i cant access transaction log via the currency tab. i have to access through a saved email from the transaction gyroid.

That's odd. It should look like this:



Alternatively, you should be able to click your bell total under your username and access your transactions that way.

thanks for the visual- yes i can access it, i derped and didnt recognize the tab was there.
