Trying to to catch a flea

Been trying for 2 weeks now I stared with my town set to beautiful town now its on wealthy does that matter. Also do all friends get fleas? Do they come any time of the year I have read March - November not sure if it just those 2 months or all months in between. Any help would be very helpful and if I posted this in the wrong spot I am sorry for that very new to this site.

It's not hard. They show up on villagers literally all the time. It's kinda hard to miss..

Wow that was fast like I said I can't find them been looking 4 or 5 times a day nothing.

Just try not to smack them on the head with your net, unless you want to.
Sometimes they might be hard to see. Talk to your villager, and they'll say something along the lines of "itchy" or "scratchy".

You find them on your villagers, and normally they'll have a itch related catchphrase 'Yeowzitch, itchy, GO AWAY (Cranky)' etc.
Doesn't matter which ordinance, you'll get them. Once you see them jumping off the villager, get your net out and hit the villager with it. (They won't get angry at you) Normally, they'll say thanks, don't tell no one and I'm totally embarrassed and give you the flea.

i have beautiful town ordinance; so i don't think it's the ordinance..

There will also be a repeating springy noise when a villager with a flea passes by, and if you look closely you'll see a tiny black thing jumping off them.

I have beautiful town ordinance and my villagers get them, so I don't think ordinance matters.

I'd say just spend more time outside, eventually a villager will walk by with one.

lol I keep walking with one friend for 2 hours and nothing but pretty sure she thought I was staulking.

My villagers get them all the dang time. You'll spot one eventually.

Keep the volume up, and you'll hear little bouncy noises

Yeah, fleas make annoying "woiw, woiw, woiw" noise and if you see a villager there will be a little brown spot bouncing around on them. Don't go too close or else you'll talk to them; just stand one tile away and use your net. Then depending on their personality they'll thank you or freak out and beg you not to tell anyone xD

I don't usually play hours and hours a day, but I usually see a villager with fleas every three or four days at least. The bouncing noise they make makes them easier to notice, too.

yup beautiful ordinance doesn't matter...my villagers seem to be infested!!!

Yeah my villagers get them daily. Clyde made me laugh when he had them cause he'd always tell me that as a reward I could keep the flea.
