nah, the turnips prices are random (or so i think). it's just the more you buy, the better off you're going to be when nook wants to buy for more than what you bought them for. the more you buy, the better you are also if you only get crappy luck and the highest nook goes is like 3 bells over what you bought them for... you can get a pretty good profit, but only if you have tons selling for 3 bells higher.

Oh Lol, too bad he couldn't come to my town. Lol, some people were also too late to come to my town. 2 people came to my town yesterday but they were kind of in the same time zone so they didn't miss out. Still can't believe my turnips were 548 bells...thought my eyes were broken...Lol =P

that's the turnip stalk market for ya. the same thing happened to me once. sold for 'bout 200 in a.m. then it turned to 'bout 400 in p.m. at nooks. made me so upset.

this is my "before" for this week... if anyone else is in the turnip business PLEASE PM ME so i can have someone to check their prices for me to come over, and i'll do the same. i don't time travel, so if the "if you time travel, nook will never buy turnips for a large amount thing" is true, won't have to worry about that from me. =)

i bought 1,500,000 worth... i was going to buy all of my money's worth, 5,000,000, but i got annoyed at talking to joan so much and then running my turnips back where i wanted them, lol.

I like waiting until on of my friends stores is buying them at a very high price, and time traveling to sunday, buy turnips in my town, and sell them at my friends town. I made about 3 mil. by doing this on night.

i made about 5,000,000 doing it the legitimate way, by buying them on sunday and not time traveling, going to animalcrossing123's town. a lot more rewarding, in my opinion - both mentally, and bell-wise. =)
