Why does it seem I only get ugly looking / weird looking villagers moving in..

Is there an easy way to get ppl i dont want to move out?

I hate when they just randomly move in and mess up my paths/flowers ):

I had the same problem for ages. I still do, actually, but I have had a couple of cute villagers moved in after some uglies left - more to go still! I feel like the ugly villagers take longer to leave than the cute ones >.>
Just keep hitting them with your net and make them angry, I've heard that makes them talk about moving quicker, although I'm not sure if it's true. Regardless, it's fun to hit them >:3

There was a thread earlier saying if you keep sending them letters with items they hate (check villager birthdays to see what the villager dislikes are on thonky)
Should get them out within' a week or so.

The net thing seems to work, Gruff decided to move out the day after I annoyed him with the net for ten minutes. He was blocking the area I wanted for the Police Station. xD
Also, you could try and avoid talking to them unless they run up to you first. That seems to help too.

Oops! It lagged when I posted. Ignore the double post :p

a video i watched said that hitting them with the net won't do any good. my boyfriend does this too and it seemed to work for him. maybe it's random? o: i used to ignore the villagers that i wanted out but i found that befriending them is a lot easier. the ones i talk to the most and have the highest friendships with seem to ask me to move more frequently than the ones that i have a lower friendship with. trying to get charlise to move out, i guess she's considered as an ugly villager. i don't mind her that much but she's preventing me from getting my last dream villager from a hold..

Yeah, it might just have been a coincidence. Maybe it has to do with personality types? I've hit Eunice accidentally plenty of times (although never three times in a row to get her angry like with Gruff) and she's never asked to move out. No idea really :p

Not sure that works, to hit them with a net. There are various ways to get a villager to move out, but not really a quick fix. You could always try using the reset trick as a chance to not have ugly villagers. c:

resetting always works! but i got charlise through a person from my friend's list who voided her o:
i had 9 villagers before she moved in, so sometimes it's unavoidable! i would suggest to those who connect a lot to turn off their wi-fi when they have an open slot because you never know, you might have a voided present appear in your town the next day!
