Uhhhh... Nintendo?

Tax day is finally here! And for once I care! I usually have my taxes done well in advance of Tax Day, so all April 15th usually means to me is that I might want to avoid going to the post office. But this year was different. This year Nintendo had promised us all NEW DLC in America!!

I logged on with glee to TBT shortly after midnight eastern time. I would have to wait several hours for my own DLC to arrive, but at least I could hear what it was from others online. Soon I had my answer... Bita announced that it was 1,000 bells. What the?!?! No, surely Bita was just having a little fun at my expense. I'd just have to wait and get it myself.

So. Yeah. I got it all right. 1,000 bells, just as she had said. I shut off my Wii without saving... Resetti would be visiting me in the morning. Whatever.

I mean, I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything, but really? To call this DLC, when it isn't an item of any sort?? So today I composed a little letter. I just wish Animal Crossing would actually allow you to send messages to Nintendo. It still felt good to write...

They could of at least put 10,000 Bells. Seriously I could just go outside my house in ACCF and shake just 1 orange, apple, or cherry tree and already have more than the amount Nintendo gave out.
I say we all spam Nintendo with a e-mail that contains the definition of DLC, they seriously need to know what it means.

Yeah... I would never send this. My main problem with this is that they announced that the next dlc item would be released on Tax Day... YAY! I mean, on the heels of the shamrock hat, the red pikmin hat, and the DSi bench, it sounded like they were really rolling something cool out.

It would have been better had they not called this DLC. Instead, had we all logged on and found 1000 bells when we expected to get nothing, we would all have enjoyed it and had a good laugh. Now, when they announce whatever the next DLC item release... how serious are we going to take them?
